“Tools of the trade” achievement question
It’s a new a achievement that replaced one of the Stranger Things ones since DBD is losing the license.
The description says I need to get a merciless victory 5 times with only 3 universal perks.
I already have 5 merciless victories with only 3 perks but the achievement won’t pop.
Does anyone know what to do?

universal perks - perks that are not teachables of any killers (i.e. sloppy butcher, noed, bitter murmur)

"Universal perks" refers to perks that are available on any killer (once unlocked), not all perks. It includes Bitter Murmur, Deerstalker, Distressing, Hex: No One Escapes Death, Hex: Thrill of the Hunt, Insidious, Iron Grasp, Monstrous Shrine, Sloppy Butcher, Spies from the Shadows, Unrelenting, and Whispers. Are you certain that the three perks you used were from this list?

Demogorgon's perks also count. They were changed to universal for anyone who doesn't own him, if I remember correctly.

I believe If you own the Demogorgon perks are still teachables for you, so I guess progress won't be added for those games (it is safer to use other perks)

This achievement is so confusing, I just had merciless victory as blight and used universal perks such as spies from the shadows, distressing and iron grasp yet I don't see 1 out of 5 progress done on steam. I have demogorgon but I hate trying to get merciless victory using his default perks....

Okay it worked finally, it took way longer for it to show progression than other achievements

Mind if I ask how much time it took until you get progress?
One of my friends is having same problem now and it's almost becoming 2 days he didn't get single count.
