Flashlight blinds from outside killer's FOV

Some might not consider this a bug, but I sincerely believe it is. It's insanity to be blinded from outside your vision. You cannot logically justify this being a feature. This bug is detrimental to killer gameplay, and in the clip I showcase here it ended up costing me the entire match. To replicate, stand just outside the killer's sight and aim your flashlight at their face.
