Since the introduction of SBMM the quality of players I get paired with dropped a lot
I wanted to wait a bit before writing this but I reached a point where I'm not really having much fun. Before SBMM I played in red ranks, and although there were many who weren't really red rank material, many more were actually good and matches felt balanced on average.
But now I'm constantly playing with what would be the equivalent of brown/yellow rank players, doesn't matter how well I play. I know that the first thing that comes to mind is that maybe I'm not that good, but I'm not boasting when I'm saying as a killer I 4k more than 90% of my matches, which removes any sense of challenge and theoretically shouldn't happen with SBMM. Let's not talk about the hell that is playing solo survivor, between facecamping, teammates that leave you on the hook to crouch in a corner and all those things that normally would happen with newbies... I'm genuinly happy when I see a killer doing an actual mindgame because it's so rare.
I honestly don't know what is wrong with it, but the new matchmaking is definetly ruining my enjoyment of the game.

It's been a dumpster fire for me as well. Solo queue wasn't great under the emblem system but its much worse with escape-based matchmaking.

The same for me..but expect people coming here saying that you are on the level you're supposed to...
For real though...If you're ended up on MMR low hell (some here say it doesn't exist), is Just a matter of luck or finding a swf to help you out...
There are days when it feels like I'm playing 20 games and escaping 2
