Bloody Party Streamers

Sorry am I missing a trick here or something that makes it so bps make the users the most ridiculously toxic and unbelievably god like whenever they are used.

I saw someone DC on first hook the other day and someone else just let it kill them. And it wasn't even party streamers, it was one of the anniversary cakes.

    Why.

    Nope, never seen this.

The only strong indicator I've seen of an incoming toxic game is a specific offering, a TTV in the lobby or Dwight in his 'jester' skin.

I played an anniversary cake as the Hag earlier. Loaded into the game, set up a few traps, then boom, boom-boom. I head to the bathroom to find all four survivors jumping in and out of lockers, me blocking them in the bathroom.

I knocked one down, picked them up, they rushed me, downed them while carrying with Starstruck, two others DCd instantly...

Once I put a cake on, they decide to gen rush.

Once they put up a party streamer and realize I am playing fair, all of a sudden it is all good in the hood. Funny how that works.

Party Streamers can be contextual. Sometimes I play them because I'm in a good mood; sometimes I play them because it's an event; sometimes I play them because I know I'm about to do something really annoying for a challenge and I want people to at least get some points. In the last case, it might look to everyone else like I used BPS and then played really aggressively for no reason.

I don’t know about predicting rude players, but Otz has a “law” that if someone brings a map offering, and a survivor rage disconnects because they got downed early, it’s always the person who brought the map offering. (Which I guess makes sense in that if a player burns an offering to play on a specific map, and then just gets downed in the first minute, they’re probably even more sore about losing than normal!)

Yeah, it seems like whenever Escape Cake, Survivor Pudding, or Bloody Party Streamers are brought the game just says "whatever" and gives you the worst match possible.
