Terror radius and range of its effects
For maps that consist mostly of a huge building with multiple floor levels (( meat factory, midnight, red)) I suggest adding or refining the sound and visual notification system within the terror radius, possibly adding 9r tweeking perks as well, to be better able to determine whether the killer is on the same floor level as you, or if they are other floor level above or below you.
If there is already a feature or perk for this then I'm missing it and apologize.
But it never fails when playing as survivor on o e of these kinds of maps, and when not having good aura reading perks, I cannot figure out what floor the killer is on. Especially if I duck into a closet when it sounds like the terror radius is breathing down my neck but can't actually see anything. I end up hiding when I don't really need to.

The terror radius isn't meant to feel safe knowing the killer isn't on the same floor as you indoor maps have been in the game for more than 4 years at this point and its just the design decision they made to have the terror radius static

All radial effects (including TR and boons) should be 3D (spherical) instead of 2D (cylindrical).
For TR, this would mean that a killer on a different floor would effectively have a smaller TR. This could be more more or less unsettling, but it would make a difference that you could learn to discern.
Is the killer on a different floor? Or do they have monitor and abuse?
Quiet TR? Maybe the killer is 20m away, or maybe they're right above you and about to drop down and ambush you.
