You added a Kill Switch, now USE IT
SO much is broken in the game rn. DH, Ghostfaces reveal, Nurse, Huntress hitboxes, and the devs arent doing anything about it. Most of these have been issues in the game for a while yet they do NOTHING to fix it. They developed a kill switch to make these things unusable until theyre fixed, yet theyve used it....once, to my knowledge, for a bunch of maps and a few pig offerings. Im not saying they should kill switch these all at once, but one at a time so they can fix it for good.

Not from the killers POV. Thats super frustrating when you hear and see everything tell you that you got the hit, except for the survivor themself and theyre picture

They've said they're only going to use the kill switch on something that is bugged in a way that's abusable or something that physically crashes the game.
It sucks but that means none of those things will be kill switched. Also I'd say we should forget about Ghost Face's reveal. If he hasn't been fixed yet, he probably won't until he's reworked.

i love ghostface, i main him, but his revealing is bs on both sides and has been for a while. yesterday i was revealed from behind the shack.

i did mention dh. the others arent broken. Purp medkits are rare and a consumable so it isnt an issue and coh is just a worse medkit

It was a fix. Is the perk OP? Maybe but there’s no denying it doesn’t break the game so no kill switch needed

i strongly disagree. It isnt healthy for the game. i remember when people needed skill to use dh effectively. now just press the button when the killer raises their weapon for an easy escape

That was a bug. They shouldve fixed it instead of making it busted.

Again the perks isn’t technically broken or doesn’t have any exploits surrounding it. Therefore the kill switch is not needed

They fixed it, now you're not exhausted on the floor anymore. That was the fix with hit validation. The problem is that they left a visual bug that looks like killers hit you when they actually didn't.

I mean if you can see them that usually means they can see you too... and even during chase you can be revealed. Revealing is only good for hiding your red stain in the chase when it's a high wall loop. Otherwise you're better off stalking from far away if possible to minimize your chances of being revealed

It's not a fix though because it bugged the perk. I am sorry you haven't been looking into tons of evidence posted on this forum. I'll leave with a simple question though
Can you explain why, if a pallet is downed and a Nemesis at tier 2 swings their tentacle at a survivor behind it, why does the pallet not break if the validation happens? The formula for Nemesis tentacle is simple. No survivor hit=pallet break. This does not happen if there is validation, forcing the Nemesis to break the pallet. There is no other perk, add on, or any interaction that can replicate this effect. Why does this happen and why do you think it's intended?

Current dh is reminding me of old dh. The one that coukd be used to abaorb 1 hit. Literally giving survivors 3 health states. This is giving me ptsd flashbacks of old MoM

i rarely stalk. i usually just use it as a way to jumpscare survivors. I couldnt see them through the shack. Not the side with the window, or the door, they were on the other side of shack

Not on the killer side of things. Fake hits and eating powers pretty regularly.

Yeah I can definitely see cases for dead hard being overpowered. Thing is the kill switch is only for mechanically broken things like bugged breakdown

I do not think it is, sometimes it seem input lag is happening and you press it and it does not trigger, I still do not see how dead hard is broken as people do and again good killers are easily baiting it out . Maybe to those on pc think it is but on console dead hard can still be a nightmare. Know whats broken and every killer is using now fearmonger, even if its just 10 seconds and the killer is coming you cant even use your sprint burst or whatever now and its annoying.

Nemesis is the easiest explanation due to the black and white nature of the tentacle hit at a pallet. Twins is the worst affected. If Victor gets validated he just drops behind the survivor who can now turn around and immediately kick him. If the dead hard isn't validated, Victor will fly past the survivor often too far for the survivor to run over and kick him. So getting validated=instant victor death when a normal dead hard will generally just result in him landing harmlessly away from the survivor. Pig is another one. Often her dash is so long that on a normal dead hard, it can still catch them at the end of their dead hard. But if it's validated, the Pig stops entirely. The issue is there are different things occuring between a validation and a non-validation.
I don't really know if dead hard needs kill switching. Probably not. But I am weary they'll ever use killswitch for anything short of true gamebreaking stuff like COH crashing games.

The visual feedback it gives isn't game breaking so there's no reason to kill switch it.

Nothing that's been mentioned so far is worthy of being killswitched, though? It's not for stuff that's annoying or OP, it's not even for stuff that's bugged.
It's a very specific tool for a very specific purpose, it's not something they're just refusing to use for some reason.

I mean it is game breaking for numerous killers since it also cancels their powers. Not everyone is a Legion.

Then they shouldn't have described it as being used so we don't have to deal with buggy broken stuff until they fixed it. Seems their desire of how to use kill switch has changed from that dev update they introduced it in. It was never described as only being for game crashing bugs.

They didn't. It was described as something for game breaking bugs, or things that are bugged in ways you can abuse for an advantage. That's why those map offerings were killswitched- survivors could purposefully send themselves there with a full build to exploit the unsnuffable totems. It's also why the Video Tape wasn't killswitched- the Pig player couldn't abuse that bug for an advantage, because it made things worse for them.
They've been pretty clear about this, honestly.

None of these are game breaking bugs. Kill Switches are only used on game breaking bugs, as much as I want Dead Hard deactivated

I don't understand why huntress with her broken hits and blight with all the exploits are still available to play
