Lightborn use
Can someone explain to me how does lightborn work because I started losing my ######### with this game and it's bugs,
if a killer is carrying a survivor and you hold your flashlight long enough to the state where he is suppose to get "blind" he doesn't anymore? did they make this perk so overpowered or what or is this something that doesn't come up so they can fix it, even in general with out carrying a survivor the killer doesn't get blind. what is this. please explain to me.

Lightborn grants immunity from being blinded, as it always should have.

Lightborn makes the Killer immune to blinds now. If you hold it on their face for long enough, you do get the blind, but it doesn't actually blind them.

i remember lightborn that you could blind the killer normally but it takes the "time" it says on the perk, not be able to see after the blind

Yes, that was the old effect.
Since then, the perk was buffed.

I'm killer main. I don't use lightborn perk normally and I still have very easy time usually when evading flashlight blinds.
1st, try to pick up the survivor in an advantageous position -- such as up against a tree, tall rock, wall, etc, while facing said obstacle.
2nd, either count your toes or count the stars.... seriously... just look up or look down. That's it.

Lightborn now also reveals the aura of the wannabe blinder for a short duration. I’ve heard some really funny stories about Jills being revealed in a really bad spot because of Blast Mine.

they made the perk too much, I never use it but nowadays bunch of killers do and it's annoying

The only thing it does is punish attempted blinds. That’s all. If that’s “too much” you rely on blinds way too much.

I'm just losing faith at this point....

Lightborn is good perk for mind games. Just pretend you care about flashlight and turn away as they try to blind you. At pallet - just start destroying it immediately and look away.
And finally when you have just two survivors left, carry one, wait for flashlight save attempt, then drop, rush at injured clicky-clicky and smite them :)

technically i love playing with flashlights and saving people with it, the only thing that makes this game way more fun not because i use it for my advantage only.

Please do some research on your games when you use flashlight.
Do Killers prioritize hunting you?
Do they camp / tunnel more often?
Do you get any mercy while holding flashlight and you are the only one left?
Just don't be surprised by results.

they just use lightborn lol 9 out of 10 match, they all use lightborn or franklin's

I use light born all the time. I love walking up to a survivor and hitting them in their silly face as they think they are attempting to blind me.

It’s funny when I find survivors that way lol.

Well if I see more than one flashlight in the pre lobby you can expect me to use Lightborn.
Not that i don already use it all the time independent of lobby items.
All hail our lord and saviour Lightborn.
Btw iron will was also buffed to trump over stridor so iw will make you completely silent (with normal breathing also being bugged) and is uncounterable so. Maybe both should be worked on?

Never thought I’d see a thread saying Lightborn of all things is overpowered.

It ruins clicky-clicky fun. Just one perk to rule them all... no pallet blinds, no flashlight saves, just like that. Definitely OP :)

Honestly I’m tempted to run it against Blast Mine, not because that perk is all that big a deal really in terms of helping them escape, but because it’s annoying getting blinded when you kick a generator. 🤷♂️

Never thought I'd see the day survivors complain about a garbage perk that only works against clicky clicky squads 😂

I seen someone complaining about Iron maiden the other day.

False. You don’t blind them or get scoring for it.

I saw that thread too it was hilarious idk whatever happened to that thread but it gave me a good laugh

Is lightborn the new meta?

I know right. To be honest that type of stuff is why I'm here it just cracks me up.

Lightborn... Sounds like a good perk, ill try soon.

Some of you need to play killer and it shows.

Actually, the beam does tighten and act as if you blind them. That is what I meant. I'm aware you don't get the score event.
