Are more survivors DCing recently

It seems like the rate of survivors disconnecting has spiked recently, and I am pretty tired of it. I Had a run tonight where over the span of 4 matches, 9 of my teammates DCed. You loaded into a lobby and into a game, play it out, even it you are getting spanked. Sometimes you'll have to face a killer you don't like, or get hooked in the first minute of a match; grow up and deal with it.

It's just disrespectful, and by the time you wait out your penalty, sit though another queue, etc., you'll have spent as much time as you would have if you just played the match out (and you'd have at least some BP for your trouble).

Also having played a lot of sides, I can say with confidence that when you DC you are punishing the other survivors far more than you are punishing the killer.

With that in mind, I think at the very least the system should be tweaked so that if one of your teammates DCs, you cannot lose a pip. If we can't appropriately punish those who DC, boost the quitter/abandoned bonus.

    Yes, I feel like it even when the DC penalty is on.

    I've had a lot of my teammates DC last night, usually on their first down or hook. It's kind of annoying. The whole team gets punished because one player didn't like that they got found first.

    My favourite is seeing people DC because right after being unhooked with plaything active, they went for the plaything totem without being healed.

    Even if I don't want to tunnel, letting you get rid of the totem in my face isn't happening.

    I usually go easier on survivors if one of them DC. It's not fair if let's say 1 DCs when there are still 4 or 5 Gens left. How it goes is 1 DCs I let one go. If 2 DC I'll play around with you but the remaining 2 will be let go.

    Yes I noticed it happening during this weekend event, even though I add streamers or cakes. One it two ppl have been disconnecting on my matches as killer.

    It looks like I'm being sent up against much newer players than I typically get.

    That was super weird.

    Rarely in my games.

    But yesterday many people gave up on the first hook even if the game went well.

    Yeah. Mostly happens when they get hooked or are about to get killed. People cant handle losing it seems. Oh and best is ive gotten multiple EZ in endgame chat and other insults after the person dces and leaves his or her team to die.

    Yeah I feel like I have been experiencing more disconnects on BHVR / EAC end and game crashing out of nowhere.

    Yeah, I DC a lot! Because I bluescreen. I feel so awful when it happens and it's so triggering whenever I'm having a good match but it is what it is.

    I view it as they would rather sit through a dc penalty than play the match and sometimes I can’t blame them.
