The problem is that some of the changes have been suggested for a long time (e.g. removing perk tiers, giving killers bonus BP as incentive to face SWF, base kit kindred for survivors, etc). It’s not like the devs are hearing these ideas for the first time and are like “wow, those are great changes - we never thought of those!”. They’ve been getting this feedback for a long time and have intentionally chosen not to implement it for whatever reason

You should of knew it was fake right from the get go.
Patch notes don't drop until 30mins before the update comes out.
Also the removal of bloodlust should of tipped you off right away.

Should've known it was fake when there were multiple good balance changes towards killer. BHVR doesn't care that much about their Killer player base.

I'm not sure what you are on about. Most of the changes in the video would improve DBD. And most killers indeed still struggle at high mmr.

Because killers never get changes that benefit them?
Like, this game has a lot of balance issues and what not, but still acting like BHVR doesn't care at all about one side is ridiculous.

I never said Killers don't get changes, but they never get that many good changes in one patch, it takes them years to make good changes for killers, just look at how long it took them to give Trapper more than one trap as base kit, or even fix the eye level of Blight. People wouldn't say BHVR didn't care if they actually put more effort and showed they cared. It's either they don't care or they're just incompetent, and neither choice is farfetched.

Blights camera fix was not that simple They had to completely rework his animations to fix his camera it’s not that simple. The only thing I kind of agree with is trapper but the rest like docs rework the after piece antidote love or hate it took a while to make it’s not easy coding a game is complicated and hard

Frankly I think the enthusiasm was less about the actual contents (there were certainly questionable decisions in those patch notes) so much as the general attitude. They read like they were written by someone who had improving the game as a genuine priority, who was willing to take some risks to do it, and who understood what players do and don't like about their experiences, and who had an awareness of how little things matter. Most of BHVRs posts and comments and patch notes are fairly tone deaf, vague, or make you question why they're doing something. These patch notes really make it feel like the person who wrote them cares.
