Extra blood points for killers if they're facing a SWF
The removal of perk tiers
Killers have a say so in what maps they don't want to go to.
Redesigned map layout so LT walls can't connect to shack for unlimited looping

And the list just goes on and on...

this patch i think is fake could be wrong though

If it's fake, then Scott Jund just did a 20 minute video for nothing.

You realize it was fake and a made up patch right?
49 -
It was indeed fan made and not by bhvr
6 -
he knew it was fake
15 -
Did you...
Did you miss the ending of that video?
31 -
He did a 20 minute vid showcasing that the fans of the game knows what's best and would make much better changes then the devs would come on bro
15 -
Damn...what a disappointment. Thanks for head's up all.

And this is the problem with satire.

The patch is fake and if this were to happen people would love that patch because those are the thing player want. When i read the patch i saw patch 7.00 so i was like this can look like a road map of thing they want to implement for the next 2 year.

The saddest part is that a lot of these changes would be great for the game and could have been implemented long ago. I don’t agree with all of them, but there are a good amount of them that have been suggested on the forums many times and would get near unanimous support from the player community, yet BHVR for whatever reason has refused to make the improvements. Sad…

Perk tiers need to go regardless ngl
7 -
and they're also removing Dead Hard! great job devs

My favorite change from the patch is that one that fixes an issue where Scott couldn't wake up.
4 -
Yeah I fell for the ploy hook line and sinker! 😄 But I completely agree that this would fix so many issues with the game. I'm so used to watching his videos detailing patch fixes that I literally thought it was legit.
1 -
Agreed
1 -
Same I cannot wait for more "wake up Scott" in DBD
0 -
Rename the “Wake Up” perk to “Wake Up Scott”. Lol.
2 -
I disagree. That’s my least favorite part. Everything else was great though
2 -
A few months from now, this will become, "Remember when BHVR lied about Patch 7."
3 -
Scott claims another victim 😄
2 -
Indeed he did! LOL What's funny is that when you hop over to Twitter, so many people are depressed after watching his video that it really highlights just how much people were hoping this was real.
3 -
Please please devs if you implement nothing at all from that list, this change must happen.

It is a fan made patch better than any other developed by BHVR
1 -
You've been rick-rolled and trolllolololed hard.
2 -
I'm not sure how people fell for this so badly. You would think the patch number being "7.0.0" when we aren't anywhere near that would have been the most obvious thing.
3 -
Cause people for some reason still believe one day that bhvr will make good balancing decisions when they've proven time and time again that's impossible for them
6 -
Yes. As more and more killers / survivors are added, this game is going to be hugely grindy for new players. I have all my killers lv 50 with meta builds, some p3 that I like the look of and all the survivors are the same. And I feel the grind when new meta perks are added.
Next year they should announce theyre cutting the new content in half, and spending the other time focusing on optimising the game, fixing the grind, balancing ect. This would be good because it also feels like theyre running out of ideas. Boon totems are just now perks that work in a totem AOE effect.

I wish this patch was real, it's so sad that it isn't.
1 -
Yeah... that's clickbait for you. Some of the changes were pretty OP too. Tier 3 Myers having permanent killer instincts... yeah, not a dead giveaway or anything
1 -
The video description states its intended for people that don't watch the entire context of the video. It's fake for all those that would repost the info without knowing

They're actually doing this.??? Omfg this is amazing!!! I hope this for real and not just a wish list. I love everything in the opening list right now and you say there's more?

I don’t feel like watching a fake patch list for 20, I’ll be curious to read the bullet points if or when someone posts them though.
As far as the suggestions mentioned in the top post
- Kindred aura base kit. Equipping the perk will now reward everyone with increased generator repairs should the killer be face camping the survivor.
I don’t know about the extra gen speed when face camping thing, but giving base aura reading to solo survivors to level the playing field with swfs is an idea I’m ok with. They probably would then need to slow gens down slightly to compensate as well.
- Extra blood points for killers if they're facing a SWF
No, I hate effects that “balance” a match by offering more blodpoints after the match is over. If the goal is to make matches against swfs more even with solo queue matches then it needs to be done with effects that occur in the match itself, not via bloodpoints.
- The removal of perk tiers
I’m ambivalent on perk tiers. I don’t mind having multiple tiers but I also wouldn’t mind if they were all just tier 3.
- Killers have a say so in what maps they don't want to go to.
No, bad idea. I don’t like map offerings to begin with and this is essentially just baking map offerings into the base game. I’d much rather remove all map offerings and just let the maps be random each match, then tweak maps as needed to adjust their balance.
- Redesigned map layout so LT walls can't connect to shack for unlimited looping
I don’t know a ton about the map generating algorithm but, sure, anything that helps maps not have infinite loops, etc, is ok with me.
- A genuine concession feature for both killers and survivors if they're getting utterly destroyed that will reward everyone with blood points should everyone agree
I agree here, I have no objection to a concession button where either side can concede the match if all players agree. I don’t like ragequitters because they ruin the game for everybody in the match who wanted to continue playing, but if all the players want to end a match early I’m ok with that.
2 -
Awwwww you mean it's just a wish list?
I ain't been playing that long and I don't even know what patch number they are currently on. But all those things listed would be excellent changes.
0 -
Yea it's just fan ideas
Unfortunately homie I'm sorry to break it to you but don't expect anything anywhere near this level of balance from bhvr
After all they nerfed pig a long time ago a already weak killer and more recently they nerfed deathslinger and Wraith when they had just buffed Wraith and made him decent 3 months before they reverted the changes lol
2 -
Scott was the one that MADE the patch notes, he literally says "wow its almost like I wrote this" in the middle of it
0 -
Not to mention tier 1 is always useless and tier 2 is mediocre regardless of the perk. All perks are really only good at tier 3 really
0 -
I like it except more bp as a player I want fun not more bps
0 -
I'm so so sorry.....
0 -
Yet even more suckers that didn't finish the video and got jebaited by the Jundster.

Letting Killers choose what map they don’t want to go would be unprofessional af. There’s no way this is from BHVR.

Fans don't know what's best. They think they do. Writing a hypotetical patch that everyone would think is great without testing if it actually is good is not hard
2 issues i instantly saw when he read his patch.
Kindred basekit+ the rework. Survivors can now loop around a hooked survivor while having full aura reading on the killer and giving a boost for the other survivors if the killer decides to not give the hook for free. Sure doesn't sound great that the best play of killers would be to just let the survivor hook bomb you .
Pig's first box never having a key also is an issue with her new iri. If that was implented and pig bodyblocked a box then their is a 81% chance at least one survivor can't get their trap off. Slightly less then 25% that 2 survivors can
Coming up with ideas for a good patch is the easy part. But there is a lot of moving parts in the game and "fans who know best" rarely see all of them.
I have no doubt that if this patch actually came complaints would come after a few hours of playtesting

Patch 7.0.0. is like 2 years away so who cares whats in it now
0 -
More of a reason to dislike their content, most of it is just nonsense
0 -
Sadly is a fake, but its funny because everyone was excited for that changes, looks that trolling do a better job with the game than the devs.
A lot of polls for nothing, don't care about the community.
2 -
dont worry i fell for it hard af too lmao

Reminder: DBD doesn’t even have loadouts.
That is the level of development we are dealing with here.
0 -
Yeah they love the idea though! Itll probably be here in 2023!

My cosmic brain prediction is that Scott did this as an experiment. Lots of people fell for it, and were overjoyed about the good changes BHVR were making, only to be bigtime let down when it was found out to be fake. But I think that was the point: Scott's making a 5head play to create an artificial pressure by viewers for BHVR to actually implement the changes listed. He's shown that the changes will be positively received by the community by all the people expressing their disappointment that they aren't legit, which incentivizes BHVR to actually commit and make them knowing they'll be well received.
