Is it ok to stream snipe streamers who are playing SWF?
Question is about SWF streamers only, who get advantage from SWF info
They're getting more info because of discord, is it ok to stream snipe to get more info for killer?
What's your opinions?

I understand you hate swfs but literally watching where they go on a stream is against the rules, as far as I'm aware. Theres a big difference

it's not a bannable offense. Same as SWF with discord. You can do this without any consequences

While an swf can see you in game the amount of info you'd get from watching their stream is way more than they'd get from watching what you're doing in game.
At most they'd be able give position updates like "killer is heading toward shack" or "killer is chasing me by basement" - they'd only be able to give updates while you were in the line of sight. They need atleast one other in match to give updates on your position while you would have their position the entire time even when there would be no line of sight. Unless it's an obvious perk like Corrupt they would have to guess what your perks are. They have no idea what your power status is, cool down status on perks, or what add-ons you're using (unless obvious like Trapper's Bloody Coil).
Stream sniping you will see their perks before they could use them, you will hear their plans before they are in action, you will see exactly the type of item with add-ons, you'll see the status of their perks, and what status effects they currently have.

It's totally different if a SWF stream snipes a killer, though.

The information swf is able to get is a slight advantage compared to the amount of information you'd get from stream sniping.
SWF advantage isn't because of information, it's the ability to coordinate. It's why if you buffed solo to get equivalent information the swf group will still have the advantage because they coordinate work together, no one is working for themself.

It's really their fault if they have TTV in their game, but I feel to do such thing to them is stooping to a low level.
Not saying SWF is balanced at all, I just don't feel like it makes someone any better for doing something they aren't supposed to do. Comms are different because DBD supports it.

Difference is SWF with discord is promoted while Stream Sniping is heavily looked down upon.

Well that would take a ton of people across many communities to say such, but theoretically, if loads of people suddenly became fine with it and it was seen as a challenge for the streamer or something like that then yes it would be fine.

It's fine to you if you ignore what people think I guess, but you can put that in any scenario where something is greatly frowned upon but not against any rules/laws. People will dislike you for it.

Stream sniping to gain an advantage is against Twitch ToS. As a streamer yourself, you might want to think twice.
As for the ethics relating to your question, bhvr openly allows comms just as they don't forbid stream sniping. Either are free game.
Lastly, swf=/=on comms. It's not unusual for content creators to simply queue up together but off comms, so they can freely interact with chat.

Please do not attempt to promote something that's against another platforms ToS on our forum.
Whilst we do not ban for stream sniping (as we do not control things that happen outside our game). Stream sniping IS against the ToS on Twitch.
