Does DBD need a ranked and a casual mode?
The MMR system made the game a lot harder (mostly for killers) and had the players unsatisfied. Should BHVR bring back the old mode and let MMR for a ranked mode, where you get more prizes and can see your MMR progress (just like Rainbow 6)?

Even if it did have a ranked and non-ranked mode, the non-ranked mode would almost certainly still use MMR, just like every other game with a ranked mode.
Quick play modes still use an MMR system, it's just looser and not tied to a progression system.

No, separation would not solve the issue at all. And the old ranked matchmaking didn’t work either. Actually it was worse because it was super inconsistent, those sweaty matches everyone blames MMR for existed as well, and it didn’t even do what it was supposed to most of the time.
instead, the devs should finally address the actual issue, which should even show in the MMR data: survivor side is too powerful when they play efficiently.

It doesn't matter the way they do the matchmaking, the whole point is being less restrict lol. I really miss having some easier matches where I can really have fun, nowadays is just really sweaty survivors doing what is possible to win. And when I get a win, I can't even see what I got from it, so it's kinda a lose/lose situation

It doesn't need it, but it might make the casual players experience better so yeah maybe.

The sweatiest of players will go to casual to have easier games. Smurfing is real, and it's pathetic.
Not only that but that would double queue times.
