Can this game validate my life choices?

How the hell do you have hit validation on Plague's puke is beyond me. How the ######### does this happen. Help me understand.

It gets it wrong most of the time anyway now.

Because for some reason in her design, it was determined that the puke itself isn't what causes sickness, little blobs of super puke in the puke is what does it. So if you're unlucky and hit someone with a stream but NOT the little blob, the game goes LOL JK and has the person act like they got infected but didn't actually infect them.
