Stop unhooking and let us go to the next game!
Seriously, can’t count many times I wanted to kill myself on hook because we lost the game anyway and people unhooking me because they want their BP for unhooking.. STOP doing that and let us just go the next game!

No. They are doing the right thing and you are in the wrong. Deciding to not play the game screws it up for the people who, unlike you, aren't too weak to play their best and try to come back.
Nobody do what this person says. They are the kind of mentality that truly ruins this game; the kid who flips the table when he's losing at monopoly and always has a crappy, defeatist attitude.

Lol that guy up me 100% blight or nurse main lmao. I agree with u, Lix. We are solo survivors. No one cares how game balanced for us...
11 -
You're right. The farming has to stop. I'm tired of being unhooked in front of the killer or when two of us are left with 4 gens to do.
7 -
Why should I let you go when you're trying to ruin my game? lol
39 -
Some of them are real players and not crybaby quitters?
Has anyone in the younger generations ever played a team sport IRL? ######### over your team is considered wrong.
6 -
Yeah sure, you go and ruin the rest of the teams game, as apposed to AT LEAST going for chase only to save us some time but still die.

Now THATS one of the most entitled survivor opinions ive seen in a fair bit of time
31 -
I’ll bet you were the type of kid who’d quit and take your football back home with you when your team was losing so nobody else could play

People like you throw the match for literally no reason. The least I can do is get points out of your temper tantrum lol.
21 -
OP is the type of person that runs around for the entire trial, does a gen for 30 seconds, wonders why they lose then blames the team. Or they're the first person to go down and they just rage quit instead of getting better and learning from their mistakes.
16 -
I don't think it's fair to be mad at people for trying to play the game normally, but I understand how it would be frustrating if you keep trying to leave and they keep bringing you back.
3 -
Nope, I will unhook you out of spite.
15 -
Dayum, you are either awesome at little-trolling and just going over the top a little bit, or super based. I go for the latter. Now get in there and give the fair playing killer a mercy hook.
0 -
Do it. I'll get you killed out of spite. What are we talking about?
5 -
I tried to suicide out of a match where i was getting face camped and I got rescued and ended up almost winning so hey - you never know.
3 -
So many games would have been winnable, or at least allowed 1-2 people to escape through the gates if everyone played their cards correctly, if people hadn't given up at the first sign of trouble and suicided on hook/ran straight for the killer if somebody unhooked you before you could die. Christ, the number of people who've told me they quit because the game was doomed, and the definition of 'doomed' was because someone got hooked before the first gen was completed...
Yeah, no. If you're going to bail on me, then at the very least, I'm going to farm some points off of your unsportsmanlike ass. You ever considered that if you even just ran in a straight line instead of trying to burn through all your hook states immediately, you could buy the rest of the team enough time to reset, or cram a gen?
I've had a spate of ragequitters on first hook lately. A few salty Deliverance users who never got to activate the perk, a few wannabe god loopers who couldn't handle getting downed too fast. Screw them. I will absolutely unhook you out of spite, and I cheer every time a killer chooses to slug someone who's trying to exit the game at the expense of the other players who are still fighting for the team. The only valid reason to quit a game early is to try and get the last player hatch, or if you have some kind of IRL situation to get to - and for that, you can just step away from the computer anyway.
5 -
Totally agree. They waste my time.
4 -
nah i want my my points, you can sit there under hook if you wish after i unhook you though. idc
1 -
I want my WGLF stack so tough cookie
Go find the killer after I unhook you if you want to die so badly but I'm going to try to get my points and stacks. Sorry not sorry *shrugs*
7 -
It's not the killer that gets screwed over by people choosing to give up on the game... it's the other solo survivors. Why do you think people hate the players who do this? It's not because they get free kills and easy games. SWFs can avoid ragequitters because they pick their teammates, but I can't, and they constantly ruin my games by throwing in the towel only halfway through. And that's if I'm lucky and they even try to play at all.
5 -
Agreed. 5 gens and a person has died already… the games over just let me go
10 -
Don't care, as long as it causes you to waste more time in a match you were going to ruin anyways.
10 -
another reason to not play solo lol
0 -
I'll just farm you for points
1 -
If you're going to make the game miserable, you're going to suffer with us.
6 -
Also if I am killer and catch wind you are trying to do this to your teammates and clearly just want to give up and die to avoid DC penalty, I will bleed you out to ensure you have to waste time waiting. If you're going to ruin your teams game I may as well ensure you either eat the 5 minute penalty or sit on the ground for a while. I had a Feng once just give up trying to kill herself and start playing normally again because of it.
8 -
I leave the person who's trying to suicide on hook to die anyway. No use in trying to keep a dead weight teammate.
1 -
It’a doable though, my team has comeback on a VERY rare occasion after someone died at 0 gens done.

Just tab out
Nothing wrong with accepting a loss
2 -
I play games for fun and for me the fun is from having as fair and balanced a contest as possible. No game is perfect, but every game is made better by promoting people playing in the intended spirit.
0 -
It's not impossible, it's just harder. People who immediately give up on it are lame as heck.
There's games were there are 3 gens left, 2 survivors and they still manage to pull through.
1 -
you only truly lose when you give up.
I had a game with no addon trapper on rpd. I went in thinking "great 3 joined at the same time with a pair of clickers and now an rpd offering."
I found my choke points and drew them in and applied pressure to wind up with a 4k and a gen left. I was ready to just screw around but habit kicked in and I tried and the entity rewarded my effort.

You're not going anywhere. Now play the game ya big baby.

If I see you killing yourself on hook I’m gonna rush for the unhook. If I see you coming at me so I can kill you quicker I’ll be sure to slug you until the end of the game. You are the problem, and I’m not here to help you.
6 -
You’re already doing that already, might as well farm your ass.
7 -
First game after the new patch was, just as I wanted, going against the artist on the new map-
lol no of course it wasn't, it was a nurse on swamp
I'd checked out the steam profile of a teammate beforehand which featured a shopping list of killers they would DC against, always a promising sign.
But if I have to suffer so do you so I got him off the hook in time and he got to spend the next few minutes throwing pallets and vaulting windows near me while I participated in normal gameplay like a good boy.
If you really really want the option to leave a game you hate you're gonna have to stick most of them out. If I'm having the worst game ever I have the option because I do it so rarely it's never more than 5 minutes. I assume the Ace didn't go that route because he wanted be able to get in another game sometime in the next few hours, which is a shame for him.

Sandbagging teammates is a reportable offense, so I'd be careful if I were you.
4 -
If i see people like you as a killer i keep you guys as long alive as possible +and if its only on the ground.
If you try to destroy the fun of your mates, i will ruin yours and give your mates a fun match instead.
1 -
Because if I let you die on hook, you cry in the endgame chat we let you die.
How are we supposed to know you wanted to die?
Not to mention if I have the choice between letting you die or getting 25% more bloodpoints from a stack of WGLF paired with Borrowed Time, I'm gonna take it.

Stop whining and just play the game and help your team.
Don't be a jerk who tries kill on hook when you go down as the first person, don't like the killer or don't like the map.
Just suck it up and try your best.
1 -
"You don't lose by getting knocked down, you lose by STAYING down." I feel like there's a little Rocky in all of us..DON'T GIVE UP. Yes it can be harder at getting the win but believe me it's doable and happens alot. Most matches don't look pretty at first just for us to pull a win. You'll even get better at the game if you don't give up so easily and actually try.
2 -
people unhooking me because they want their BP for unhooking
That's not why I'm unhooking you
I'm unhooking you because I trust we can recover from the match if we are able to waste enough of the killer's time with chases and ######### like that
I've lost count of the amount of times we lost a match only because an idiot thought we had no way of winning and wanted to "go to the next match" immediately, so stay in the ######### match and waste as much time of the killer that you can, otherwise go play Sims instead of DBD if you don't want to play a team-effort game
1 -
I also can't stop counting how many times teammate killed himself at the start and we won 3vs1. Always makes me laugh at the end how spoonfed survivors are and expect easy wins every game so they give up immediately.
0 -
I have always wondered with this though if it's the killer taking their foot off the gas. I've had games as killer where the one person DCs or suicides asap and I play as a killer "badly".
I'll go after hooks and whatnot but if you're on you're injured and on your death hook, I'll weirdly "lose" you in the middle of a chase or decide kicking that gen at 3% completion is more important. I always wonder if those survivors realize what I'm doing or if they just think they're so damn good that they managed to win 3v1 :D
Just a random thought reading your post.
2 -
While that might happen it doesn't happen that often as you might think.
Also why would killer let 2 or 3 people go at the end while trying to stop them the whole game?
The matches I am talking about were challenging or I experienced a chase against that killer before the surv who killed himself and got down instantly.
I think I have enough experience in the game to judge when is someone giving their best or going easy.
2 -
Yep, that's really right. I hate this farm boys... Round is over and they want to rescue you. The "new" second hook is horrible.
2 -
People like you and the op are exactly why the "new" second hook exists.
6 -
I think the point of the matter is this. Yes any game is winnable. However, most times, that type of game is a loss and extremely unfun to play. This is a video game, that most people play casually for fun. People don't want to waste the short amount of time they have to play this game and be miserable the entire time they are playing it. They would rather go to the next game, where the game is fair and fun.
If I have enough time after work to play 3 games, and someone disconnects at the beginning of one of those matches, let me go to the next game where I will have a fair match and not play a frustrating, unfun match that is almost guaranteed to be a loss.
1 -
I understand what you're saying.
