I'm all for having interesting ultra rares, but Brand New Part isn't interesting. It isn't interactive, it isn't fun, it's just cheap and easily abused. It's like if the killer could just bring an add on that starts 1 player on a hook.

I had to really think about it when I asked the question, but since I always say that I think gen times should be extended, I think it would be better if BNP was gone.

I don't think Brand New Parts should be removed entirely, but they could use a nerf or maybe even a rework.

I very rarely support outright removing anything at all, so I'd sooner see them reworked. I'm not sure what to, but Brand New Parts should still exist with some other effect.

What if instead of it giving 25 percent, you gain extra repair speed by %5 each time you hit a great skillcheck for as long as you're on the generator and not letting go. It would provide good timing and predictions on whether the killer would come to the gen or not and would promote good reaction time.

I voted yes by accident; I would've said no, simply because I'd rather have BNPs reworked instead of straight-up deleted. I feel like they are unhealthy in their current state.

Its less a BNP problem and more of a toolbox in general problem as generators are balanced around not having them being in every game so stacking toolboxes and ANY good toolbox add-ons effects the game way too much.

it used to freak me out when two gens popped right at the start of the match, but now I know it just means survivors blew their BNP and toolboxes on those gens and will take a lot longer to do the rest.

I think using a Brand New Part should consume the toolbox instead of allowing the survivor to keep it. (Kind of like how using an Anti-Hemorrhage Syringe addon consumes a medkit when used)

I think brand new parts should be reworked but not removed. For example, i think that we could make brand new parts an add-on that increase by 2/ 3% the amount of progress on a gen for every great skillcheck the survivor do; and increase by 100%/ 150% the bloodpoints earned for every great skillchecks.

BNPs are tricky. They are way, way more balanced than they were before, but are still strong. In all honesty I really liked the second iteration with infinite skillchecks popping untill you finished gen or got interrupted or missed one (It was just fun to use or laugh at people for wasting it).
They are very strong, especially that survivor doesn't destroy their item in the process of using one... and for the sake of balance they should be removed... but there would be literally nothing worth of iridescent quality in survivor blood web.
Keys are one person escape (Skeleton with addons is still strong) so they are not that impactful anymore, Map is too weak to be top rarity (even though it's my favourite item, despite it not tracking shack before it gets visible anymore), moon boquets do not exist... Flashlight are not super strong anyway (and Lightborn exists) so... with BNP gone there would be nothing worth being iridescent.

rework it to do something else. Like add a "regression shield" to the gen. So instead of adding 25% progress to the gen it makes it so the next 25% worth of regression applied to the gen does nothing to the gen.
