We are since 2 years at a spot where dbd has enough content to stay on its own, you can all agree that we have currently a huge number of Killers and Survivors and I bet the majority of the players are still currently on their mission to level or prestige their favorite characters.

Many ppl seem to think that BHVR ignores feedback or is very slow at adding necessary and wanted changes. Which I can totally understand but I do think it is more of a priority issue than lazyness.

A huge priority of BHVR is still to this day to add new Killers, Licenses, Maps and Cosmetics next to their new game they are developing in the background. However if the schedule of (every 3 months = 1 chapter) would be slowed down to lets say (6 months = 1 chapter) and fill the in between with more Mid chapters or other huge patches to focus on Balancing like Killers, Addons, Items, Perks and Maps, this would be way better and healthier for both the Community and the Devs themselves. They wouldnt be too stressed anymore to focus too much on new content and meanwhile the community gets more and faster balance changes which are requested for so long.

I feel like this would make everything easier and more comfortable for everyone, any thoughts?

Ye but a rework or reintroduction of a older character also can keep things very fresh.

On world of warcraft for example, a big part of the hype of new expansions wasnt necessarely the new zones or max levels, also class reworks and changes where a huge topic always. This in dbd is the same, remember back then how they announced the freddy rework? I think they did this very well there (not the changes themselves, talking about how they presented it), they should do this with the next reworks they plan aswell. Showing some teases, talking about it in a Q/A stream and then announcing it in the news. Same as the big Doctor update, it wasnt that well advertised but ppl where very happy and excited for it and alot of players where interested in playing him again.

Yes, they could definitely slow down on the new chapters a bit... and work on a health patch.

i would be very okay with 3 instead of 4 chapters per year.

and more focus on QA, game balance, game health and keeping current content up to date. Especially perks, there are so many useless ones and some too powerful, especially in comparison to the other perks.

i would be okay with more cosmetics, especially stuff like legendary skins to keep their money flowing.
