Spirit is the most universally fun killer in the game right now

Why would I deem it overpowered?
It is perfectly possible to track a Survivor with IW. It doesn't give you any otherworldly advantages, even if the killer you're playing against is not a good tracker.
Yes, but IW hasn't received any changes since I left.
Unless you are talking about MMR shenanigans, I know exactly how it is to face this perk.

yeah you need to hear their grunts of pain to know where survs are if there are a lot of obstacles. a lot of killers suffer because of that thing.

Not really. It can depend on map design but that goes for all killers. Overall though I don’t mind her anymore

The problem is it completely removes any sound the survivor makes and that makes it impossible to track when los is lost on some maps. There is no risk to using the perk and all you have to do to activate it is equip it and get hit. There is also a bug that makes them completely silent on the ground

You can still track them through pools of blood and scratch marks, though. And not every perk needs to present a risk. BBQ presents no risk to the killer and is still widely used, even by people that are not desperate for BPs.
And hold on a second, that bug is still in the game? Heck, I remember it from 2019!

My problem with Iron Will isn’t about the tracking part of it. I think it’s a fine perk when it’s used for stealth purposes and that’s what it should be based around, nothing else. When it becomes a chase perk, that’s when I have beef with it. It essentially has the same problem that old Spirit had - lack of feedback. You just can’t really make a mindgame or read when Iron Will comes into play and survivors break LoS forcing the killer to guess.
If they made it where it is primarily a stealth perk, I would never complain about the perk again.

I think you can midngame someone with Iron Will. It is just that Spirit can't.

There's alot of places that you can't see the blood, scratch marks are extremely inaccurate. I guarantee they take the BP off bbq almost no one would use it. You can counter bbq by been with 40m of the hook, hiding in lockers, or use gens to block it. You also have to hook someone to use out of bbq IW is equip and work with a strong effect.
For the record I don't think its OP but overturned.

I disagree with that, tbh. Scratch Marks have their weird moments, but you can definitely still use them for tracking, and same goes for blood. As long as you are used to it, obviously.
As for BBQ, that was just an example. You could say the same for something like A Nurse's calling, for example, which is also just equip and use. And that is fine, btw. Not everything has to have a requirement or risk.
I would prefer if IW remained unchanged, tbh.

It has a limited range to keep it in check. Losing LoS with IW is huge if there's grass around you can't see blood or if its really dark it is hard to spot. Scratch marks are very unreliable the do weird stuff and you can stop running and you don't make any of them Scratch marks more let you know someone is here they are not good for direction as much. Tinkerer is the close perk to IW in strength and how it works but Tinkerer you can jump on two separate gens and the killer can't defend both. Its also really only as strong as IW if paired with ruin now that I think about it.

Even if the IW stops running, all you have to do is look around the spot where the Scratch Marks stopped and you will, most likely, find them. As for blood, the low quality grass of downgraded maps do not make them difficult to see, imo.
And hey, Survivors can jump on 2 different gens to win against Tinkerer, just like killers can kill IW users. This perk doesn't make them invincible.
