Artist Base Kit is weak, and almost none of her addons help.

This is not about her overall strength, or how fun/fair she is to play against, it's even only tangentially about her balance.

My main point is that it feels like the devs designed her Base Kit around her zoning being much more dangerous thanks to stationary crows being able to injure, but then it got to the PTB and they quickly (and correctly) realized "oh #########, we can't let that go into the game, that #########'s way too strong" and removed it, instead merely applying or refreshing the swarm effect.

So they took that away, but now we're left with every aspect of her base kit feeling far too clunky and frustratingly, no, agonizingly slow. Almost as if it was deliberately and sensibly designed around an additional source of lethality, and they didn't want you to be able to do too much too easily with her Base Kit bc that would end up being stupidly OP.

Killers are still learning the situations she can get hits in, and obviously it's going to take a couple months for Survivors to figure out how to play against her consistently; but when that happens, you'll stop seeing cross map shots/injuries, you'll even see way less info from trying to check gens.

Her unique strengths will be all but gone, and her base kit will still be extremely clunky and sluggish.

My request, you can make changes in like 2 weeks from a PTB, you can clearly adjust things slightly if you wanted to. Why not err on the side of making the Killer's power a ever-so-slightly too quick & responsive?

Hell, I'd even take Survivor buffs across the board if it meant certain Killer's base kits were easier to use and felt more fluid.

    They ruined the good addons with glaringly horrible downsides.

    What's the point of hiding the aura of the flying crows if you are going to show the survivor the placement? You just replace one bad for another bad with the same result in the end.

    The values on anything that can be used are so insignificant as well.

    I was thinking that it felt off while playing her like you did. The removal of crow mines has just left a hole in her power allowing survivors to just W to the next tile while you are stuck on cooldown and slowed.

    I have tried to snipe with her but all the survivor needs to do is stop for a second or move diagonally to throw off the timing and you will probably miss them in most cases. Snipes out in the open are a no go if the survivor looks at the crow head to see the trajectory and in most cases will just result in applying birds or take long enough to line it up for them to remove the birds.

    Survivors have already started moving off gens after i hook someone so i can't check them without double crowing and even then they move out of the way before the crows reach them if the map is large enough.

    I have already moved back to trickster who sadly is a more competent killer.
