Small Game and Hex: Pentimento

Is small game suppose to count Pentimento totems as well?
I am curious because I was using SG and it stopped counting after 5 totems. So I was wondering if this was intended or not. I think SG should be able to count any totems no matter what.

Pentimento has a few oversights.
It also doesn't work correctly with Thrill

Oh I didn't know this. I've never really used SG or Thrill, so that's good to know!
