New or reworked perks discussions

Sport combat - Pulls down pallets 30/40/50% faster and stuns killers 20/25/30% longer. Can cause a hearing status effect problem to the killer for 5 seconds. (Spirit Fury, Brutal strength and Enduring will clash this perk.)

  • Pros and Cons: Sport Combat stuns killers longer and quicker to avoid the killer for stopping you dropping pallets. Smash hit needs a direct hit to activate a 4 second dash and killers can counter by pallet respecting, Huntress' hatchets, Nemesis' tentacles, and The Wraith dash (Including pallet and wall break speedup perks and addons). so it was not used very often. Smash hit will not be enough to buy you time from killers who have stun resistance and breaking speed perks. So it is best to use Sport Combat along to assist Smash Hit's efficiency.

Helen's Forsight - This perk will activate If you're cursed by a hex totem. Healing, Rescuing, Recovery (at dying state), and cleansing speed were reduced by 34/30/26%. However, when repairing generators, no skill checks were triggered and repair speed was increased by 15/21/27%.

  • Why this perk? Because Thanatophobia, Dying light, Hex: Pentimento and Surge will stop your tracks for progressing your generator. What's more worse is using Prove Thyself is not useful often because Killers will always do their best to keep you all separated (Includes Discordance), and forces you to do solo gens while the others are in trouble and couldn't help you. It was mentioned from NoobPat that Prove thyself is far worse in solo queue and suits only on a gen jockey playstyle.

Torn Metal - After sabotaging a hook, a repaired sabotaged hook will become a Worn Hook and their auras were displayed in yellow. Worn hooks will have a reduced 6/9/12% reduced sacrifice progress, and escape attempts is 6/12/18% easier.

  • Clash against Campers: Some killer players wants to camp at hooked survivors, waiting for you to die quickly. There is one player named Camp God from steam server that he use Leatherface to claim his name as a 'camp god'. Borrowed Time can save your ally to help them escape but both you and the rescued will not last very long since it wants to target you so badly until you're out of the game. This perk will got you covered since this is the opposite of Monstrous Shrine. Saboteur can pair with Torn Metal to create a withstand-able perk.

Fresh Meat - After you've rescued a survivor, fresh meat activates. When successfully being unhooked or you unhooked yourself, your sacrificed progress will be reset back to 20/10/0% of its progression when the next time you were hooked. The second time you were hooked will permanently deactivate this perk for the remainder of this trial.

  • Reason for this existed perk: Same as the reason with the Camping killers and the Leatherface, those who attempted rescued will end up getting Chainsawed, Grabbed, Bear Trapped, Death Speared, Knife Tricked and Spirit Karma. Sometimes they camped at hooked allies until it reaches the second stage of the sacrifice, they will leave. If you're rescued, you'll end up walking until a trap and you're finished. This perk can help you reset your sacrifice progress. For example, If you have 2 crosses at your character status, it be gone once you've been rescued for the first time.

Mechanical Work - Depletion rate to toolboxes were reduced by 30/36/42% for generator repairs. Other survivors' repair speed was increased by 2/3/4%. The shared repair speed buff does not stack.

  • About this perk; Streetwise is sometimes insufficient when it was 25% (Some say that it was not enough). How about this perk instead? If Mechanical work is paired with Built to Last and Streetwise, you'll have an infinite toolbox build and last a minute longer. 3 other survivors can receive a little repair speed buff except you if all of you were separated.

Connector - Used to install a wire box inside the generator if it has 65/55/45% of its progression and highlighted in yellow. If the generator begins to regress without preventing it for 20 seconds, The generator will become electrified and restore the regression penalty but its -50% slower to do so. Connector lasts for 30 seconds.

  • Why this perk? Because killers will kick gens and search for you and your hiding won't last much longer. Or you're trying to keep your distance to the incoming killer or attempt to rescue a hooked friend but the Killer like the popular Hex: Ruin, Eruption, Pain Resonance or Oppression, this your problem if your gen is almost finished or halfway there. Well, Connector will solve this problem.
