Would you remove hatch mechanic?
I see many people saying that hatch is an unfair mechanic since it gives a free escape to the survivor.
As far as i'm concerned, i'm fine with it since it creates a gameplay that would be non-existent otherwise. If Hatch wasn't there, the killer would have to search for a survivor that would be hiding for years... or until the killer disconnects. Thats why I don't think it would be a good idea.
What's your thoughts?

No, because of the reason you stated.

You said it yourself.
One survivor would have no incentive to try and do generators - it's hopeless.
This is why 2v1s are worse than 1v1s, because you can just have two survivors waiting for the other one to die and neither of them are doing anything/both are just hiding who knows where.

Just make the EGC start when there is one survivor left alive

Oh the sweet relief once the hatch is found.

The last survivor deserves a chance to escape imo.

Hatch sort of has the problem of encouraging highly selfish behavior from survivors. "If I let all my teammates die, I can escape through hatch and win!" I can't count how many games I've played as killer where one survivor just waits for everyone to die and then goes looking for hatch (or worse, they farm their teammates off hook without BT so they die quicker).
It also has the problem of encouraging killers to slug for the 4k. "If I hook this survivor, the last one can find the hatch and I won't get a 4k!" I can't tell you how boring it is for you and your friend to take turns getting slugged and revived for 10-15 minutes.
The problem with removing the hatch is that Dead By Daylight does not have an in-game timer to prevent matches from taking 30 minutes to an hour, so the last survivor could just be a locker jockey until the killer DCs. There's no actual reason for a match in DbD to take too much longer than 10-15 minutes, with particularly stalemate heavy matches taking around 20 minutes.
Hatch and EGC are really just band-aids for an easily fixable problem: The game has no time limit.

Usually I find the hatch first, I dont know what's up with you. The last survivor at least deserves a chance, and if you notice he's a dick then be a dick back.

Just so they would stop making challenges in the archive for it.
