Just a small example of double standards
When you play toxic and trying to do "juke montage", you are just having fun. When you fail with it with all your SWF, and killer gives you a taste of your medicine (nodding to you and letting you bleed on the ground, although for the last one, there was no hook near), he is a scumbag that cruelly mocks and scoffs above you. L-logic. BHVR, please do something with these dirty campers, tunnelers and sluggers! We just want to bully them, and these dirty mechanics are getting in our way! They need to be nerfed urgently, we don't enjoy the game!

killer good..?
survivor.. bad..?

In their opinion, a bad killer. Just because hit them back for trying to ruin the mood.
Survivor when he toxic: "man, just don't take this seriously, we're just having fun!"
Survivor when the killer is toxic with him - see screenshots.

I will never now what kind of sweet messages I get when I play killer since I am on console and have them disabled on killer account.
I always give my best to 4k if the team is bm'ing and reward them with some nice bm myself. It is probably better to ignore them but it helps me feel better to punish people like that. And if they get pissed even better.
I can live with destroyed egos.

When I get angry messages I try to think of what I’ve learnt these last few years and it puts things into perspective. A couple of quotes come to mind:
Understand learning consists of chaos-driven reactions of potentiality. Interconnectedness means a flowering of the pranic.
Although you may not realize it, you are advanced. Reality has always been electrified with spiritual brothers and sisters whose dreams are engulfed in power. Walk with those seeking insight. Run from those who think they've found faith.
When I muse on these ideas I’m reminded that although the people involved are real entities, DBD is just a game, and I’d be remiss if were to allow some scoundrel playing said game to affect me in the real deal.

Not everyone has such strong nerves as you or me. This does not affect me personally. But I don't like itself human desire to ruin other people's mood. I know human psychology well. Many of them would have done this in real life if they were not afraid of the consequences. Therefore, when I return them to their attitude to the world, I simply explain in a language they understand, through pain, the inadmissibility of their behavior. Because, unfortunately, for many, this is the only language they can understand. Requests and arguments won't stop them. But their own bad gaming experience can do this, since their spoiled mood can discourage them from angering killers, or even continue matches that day. Therefore, I continued to troll them in the chat. I never scoff at those who behaved adequately.
It is also a demonstration that such a tool cannot be taken from killers, despite all the forum complaints about it. At least until a 100% working punishment for toxicity is invented. As can be seen from their chat messages, they threaten with reports. I know that I will not get anything for this, I did not break any rules. But people like them may well go to the forum, complain about "dishonest" mechanics and demand their nerf. Only for the reasons shown in the screenshot. If need to heal the problems of the game - then all at once. Or it is better to leave it as it is. Otherwise, many will simply not want to continue playing this game.

I sympathize.
I'm currently taking a hiatus from this game, primarily due to the trolls and griefers just...finally wearing me down.
People usually respond to this stuff in one of 3 ways.
- Disengagement (they become numb)
- Retreat (they quit)
- Assimilation (they become toxic too)
I'm very much type-2. You've gone type-3.
The major issue is that, as you'll see probably in this thread (or at least on these forums) - that people will defend this stuff as just a harmless bit of fun/just how they enjoy the game and tell you to 'get off the internet' if you don't like it.
As DbD grows from a niche game into something mainstream, BHVR's willingness to moderate their community is going to be a huge factor in whether this becomes the horror version of LoL or the horror version of Smite.

I also began to play less often, but more because of the poor balance, endless new bugs in each patch and the destroyed atmosphere of horror due to too much casualness of the game for survivors - you will not be afraid if you are too difficult to die.
I also started to get a bad experience for the survivors because of the new MMR system that only gives me super powerful Blights and Nurse, and it became like cybersport, although I just want to play. I used to at least relax for the survivors, now the bad experience is everywhere.
> I'm very much type-2. You've gone type-3.
Only with toxic people. I never do this with someone who does not deserve it.
> people will defend this stuff as just a harmless bit of fun / just how they enjoy the game and tell you to 'get off the internet' if you don't like it.
That's why I showed it. If you mirror their behavior to them, it ceases to seem harmless to most of them :)

While this post-match chat is definitely crossing several lines and the lot of them deserve reports...
Where's the double standards? Because judging by the point totals, there wasn't a lot of juking happening, so it looks more like you camped and bleedout slugged to ruin the day for some random folks that really didn't do anything to you.

Oh, i am sorry, I forgot to record a video for every spam tbagging I see in every second match. And that I saw from each one of their SWF from beginning. Definitely these cute and nice guys couldn't do anything like that.
Just some swf-survivors feel so strong and so lose their sense of self-preservation after light games with inexperienced killers that they behave too self-confident, not thinking that the killer is able to quickly downed them for foolish behavior. Therefore, they quickly paid for their stupidity and did not manage to get a lot of BP.

Yesterday I had a David clicky me from distance at every moment he saw me, I just ignore him and go for Jill,Clair, Ace who played normally. Jill dead, Clair 2nd hooked in basement and David trapped, so I also brought him into basement and 2nd hook him. Then I face camped David. I would not care if Ace unhook Clair, but Ace didnt dare to do that.
Then David process to called me noob face camp. It heart broke me because I thought he wanted my attention so I fully commit attention to him : (

I haven't gotten 4k in days, I only gets SWF and I disable the crossplay and it's way better without PC players that are toxic and have more movement than a controller

You started it by calling them ‘ez clowns’. Maybe don’t be a sore winner.

Do you see the black arrow that goes counterclockwise? The first chat message was not from me. They started their whining stream before I even wrote anything. And they would have written it anyway, even if I had kept silent. And yes, when survivors play like clowns, grimacing with BM gestures, instead of trying to survive and do their job - I call them clowns. Because they are clowns by the fact of their behavior.

I get zero fun out of killer anymore. At the moment im rank 3 killer and surv.
Neither are fun

just another killer main day, i even wonder why you are so surprised... i'm still playing killer, without camping and tunneling, yet they must cry everytime just because they loose or because yes... i won't reduce myself like those kind of nasty "players" (for not saying worse things) despite i claimed the contrary on this forum (i'm simply not suited/not enjoy for playing in that way). anyway, this kind of behavior should be heavily punished imo, but you know what devs think about that matter... what did you expect from people who tell you to report people ddosing you (you can't even do it cause once ddossed you'll be redirected directly to the main menu) instead of fix the problem?

I didn’t see the first part. Sorry. They are being jerks in the chat.

No DS either.

Eh. It happens, I'd try for thicker skin or just leaving without looking at comments to be honest. I've also found that if I limit my reply to "ggwp, gl next" and throw it out there quick like, I usually get nicer comments in return.
The gameplay was revenge enough. I happily got my "Sacrifice 4 survivors in the basement in one trial" on a team full of boons and strobe lights. They BM'd endgame too, but I just thanked them for helping me get my achievement and moved along.

All those messages are just cringe, including yours. I dont see the point of this post....

A few things i can think of right now ive been called or told by playing killer:
I am an embarassment to humanking
I should kill myself
Im an embarassment to gay people (im not even gay and they had never met me before or talked to me)
I am bad (despite getting a 4k)
Im not including harmless smack talk like easy game or im bad since thats just become the standard after games now also theres probably comments i cant remember right now.
Im not saying killers arent as bad, but i mainly play killer so im only getting this side of the interaction, my take is the community in general is toxic and entitled. If you dont play how they want you to they feel justified to insult you as a person.

I'm not surprised, I've seen it many times. It was just a prime example to demonstrate.
Surprised that still need to explain such obvious things, but okay. The point is that many players see toxicity as nothing bad. But exactly until they feel it on themselves. And many, even having felt for themselves, continue to think so. It's okay when they do it, but it's bad and terrible when against them. This is precisely what selfishness and double standards are. If you don't see anything wrong with toxicity (BM gestures and wasting killers time in the match), you must not react like that in chat, when get toxicity in match from killer. Their reaction proves only one thing. They KNOW that what they are doing is bad, and they themselves consider it a humiliation of the other side. But they do not see anything bad in this exactly as long as they humiliate others, not them. Some people need to be hurt so they know they are misbehaving. This is the only way they will understand. And even if they don't, pain will at least make them bully others less for fear that it will happen to them again. Therefore, I continued to taunt them in the chat. I am not a supporter of "turn the other cheek" position. I just gave them back their own attitude to the world.
Several times they wished me and my family to die from cancer (at that time I was not even toxic for toxicity, I just played, the same survivor came out in my face several times and thought that I had tunneled him). And that was the streamer's Twitch teammate live. Neither his channel, nor this teammate itself, received any ban after reports. Not in the game, not on Twitch. Actually, I don't care about all this, I have strong nerves, but the very fact that this is not punished in any way and they continue to do it with others is disgusting.
