Unable to pick up a downed survivor in the furthest corner from the entrance in the basement

I just faced a Feng that, when downed, crawled into the basement in the corner which is further from the entrance where I was unable to pick her up. Screenshots for proof:
As you can see the pick up prompt doesn't appear.
