So the issue with the Snowman
Now I hate raining down on everyone's parade soon after the event just started but I was scratching my head on how the Snowman functioned and to my fears it's getting abused by Survivor to basically get free endurance status effect minus the sprint burst that comes along with it.
Hell yeah. I'm the grinch and this ######### is wack.

His shock attack pops the snowman and you can attack pretty much instantly after it

The snowman doesn't pop untill the laceration bar is full and it still damages the survivors

You can fake placing a trap at their feet, and when they jump out get a free hit
I've played 3 matched and found 3 ways to not only deny the cosmetic but also to turn their so called safe haven into a death trap
I don't think killers need to complain about this one

Chill dude. In a lot of my matches people have been neglecting gens to search for those Snowmen, if anything it's a good time to play killer.

Obviously duh it's not even 12 hours since the event started. Wait for a few days when everybody got their cosmetics and people are just going to use it for advantages.
This event is until 23rd by the way.

They get the speed boost anyway because you get the successful attack cooldown. That shouldn't be a thing

Unlikely that they'll "fix" the snowman considering it's a limited event. If it bothers you so much, take a break for a couple of weeks or play survivor until the event ends.

Yes, it's an event. No, it's not something both sides can "enjoy." If they had made it obvious somehow which snowmen had a survivor inside it wouldn't be so bad.

To be honest the event is kind of lame for killers. Survivors can get in snowmen mess around and the killer just got something else to m1. I wish they would of put a little more effort for the killer side.

My idea is evil snowman with a giant candycane. It would move slightly faster then the survivors snowman. Just imagine the chases between snowman.

Play Freddy.
They will jump out of the snowman as soon as you approach then.
It worked for me during my little testing session (I had to know).
It will probably work for you as well.

Freddy was the 2nd DLC I bought, second to RE, I saw his power, thought it was cool, didnt realize the video was outtdated, and bought him.

All they designed about the hit is just the hit. They didn't account for the consequences for allowing that and how much distance a competent survivor can get with that #########. There's even clips of people jumping from snowman to snowman like it's some wack a mole.

At first I didn't understand why you thought the design of the snowman was an "oversight," now that you've explained it, I understand what you mean. You really shouldn't be able to just jump from snowman to snowman and always be able to get out of the hit. I get that's why killers can still injure/down a survivor if they aren't fully in the snowman, but that also implies that the killer is close enough to do that. Maybe they should be nerfed slightly to make the event feel more fair for both sides. Maybe like, "After you've jumped in 2 snowmen, the snowmen cannot save you from another hit and you will still lose a health state if you jump in anymore." Maybe even 1 snowman could work with that, either way, an event shouldn't give you the equivalent of infinite health states as long as you can find the event prop.

I think it'd be both more fair and funnier if the snowman was purely cosmetic and didn't change gameplay for the Survivor. No protection hit, but the snowman gets to run full speed.

How do the Snowmen interact with Victor? Because if he just goes into his stun and the survivor gets a free kick Charlotte's power is literally unplayable for 2 weeks.
