I just saw the announcement myself on PC, but the link they provide just leads to a 404 error.

You sign into Amazon gaming. While there go into the one for DBD, there will be a button to "claim reward." Select that and you'll get long code to enter in the store under redeem codes like you do for the BP codes the give out.

Got mine :)

Sign into your account and you will see DBD reward, claim it and it will get you code for ingame store to redeem

I guess it’s only one code per Amazon account? My partner and I are sharing one account (obviously) but would really like to get both the ability to get the rewards..

I remember reading somewhere that you also get 500 auric cells with amazon prime. Can anyone confirm this? Did you only get the artist cosmetics?
0 -
That were only rumors.
for December (Dec. 10th to Jan. 10th) it will be two artist outfits. After that every month a new reward until May, those were not revealed yet though

I already had Amazon Prime... but it looks like there's more items planned to be released in the future for Amazon Prime Gaming users? I can't say I like that idea even though I'm already going to get them. DBD cosmetics shouldn't be exclusive to third-party platforms; they should be made available to everyone (even if, say, you get them free with Prime Gaming but can buy them in the shop otherwise.)

Got mine - nice.

I've claimed the code from Prime, it is a very long code. When I tried to redeem it in the in game store on my PS4 it didn't work, it says that the code is invalid... I don't understand. Am I missing something or just scummed by dbd and Prime?

Include the dashes that are in the code

One per account.
1 -
One per account but you could always make new Amazon account, do free 30 day trial of prime and cancel after getting code.

There are brackets for the next few month, so i guess we will get more stuff.

Can confirm - works on ps4 i got mine
Use the link people's provided, sign in with your amazon details, then click claim, use the code in the store :)

What do these cosmetics actually look like? I haven’t seen them yet.
0 -
Yeah. But that only works for one month…

Purple and the other blueish
2 -
I've done it first time, but didn't work.

edit: only the second (blue) one is prime reward. Plus the purple color variation

Yeah, if you only have one email to make extra Amazon account it only works for one month.

FAQ on Amazon gaming says to contact Dead by Daylight support if you have issues with the code. https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

Top one isn't from Amazon Gaming. Both look like bottom one but one is blue and the other purple.
1 -
-Oh.
I actually really like that blue one...
...yet have no intention of getting amazon prime.

They look nice. I don´t think prime gaming would be worth it only for that.
But as i have it anyways, it is cool that i get stuff.

It’s only the blue one and the same in purple. Got something mixed up

Yeah, I just now noticed the tweet about it.
Thanks anyway.
[just gonna pre-emptively delete this comment in case it's indeed a leak.]

Whoops. No. Maybe future prime reward? Gonna delete it as it prob counts as leak

I've tried to contact support in some way, but it seems pretty useless.
In the guide to redeem the code they says:
"Select the STORE menu, navigate to the FEATURE tab."
on console there isn't any "feature tab" but a "redeem code" button only that I usually use to redeem any other code I had in the past...
Really don't know...

It’s still the same button, the button is part of the ‚Featured‘ tab.
1 -
I'm going to message you privately

Redeem code is where you go. You enter the code there, including dashes. If it's not working when you enter your code you just have to wait for support to get back to you on the ticket you send down through that link I shared before.

Ok so I apparently never claimed my free trial for amazon, so now I got this for a whopping 1 cent.
Cheers.

agreed seems kinda greedy.

Thank you for all your replies, after at least the sixth time I've entered the code, it finally worked... god... 😡

Imo thats a bad move, locking it behind prime gaming, maybe letting them be purchasable otherwise would be a good idea

The video I watched about claiming the codes said I need to have a Twitch account to claim the rewards. Is this true? Or can the rewards be claimed with only a Prime account? I can't check for myself because I would be using someone else's Prime account to claim the code. If someone could explain this to me before I ask to use the account that would be berry helpful. I also do not use Prime or Twitch or computers honestly so please keep that in mind if you explain it to me.

You can claim them without a Twitch account
just log in to Prime Gaming with the Amazon prime account, claim DbD Code and paste it into the Redeem a code in the store

The weapon is very nice..

that's sick.
Amazon Gaming is free with a prime account, right?

Players have been begging them to do a Prime Gaming partnership for years. It's something MANY games are doing and have been for years. For example, in a certain popular tank war game I am able to play as Starlight and Maeve from The Boys, also as Cobra Commander and Duke from G.I. Joe. You cannot buy those skins in the game store, you only got them for a limited time through Prime Gaming.

sweet, thanks.

Thank you

The crown and weapon i like, not so much the dress. The crown and weapon kinda go nicely with her default re-colours though, especially the purple. If only the crown was silver haha.
