Trying to understand Hillbilly overheat justification

I play Billy(with Double Engravings) a lot, but since he was buffed, I don't worry about overheating that much. (It's not quite perfect.
However, since it was nerfed, it now looks down after the Chainsaw Sprint and has poor visibility, and now there is no acceleration after the Chainsaw Sprint due to a bug(?). It's hard to hit the chainsaw, but the risk of missing is too high.
It makes me sad when I meet Billy who only uses the M1, so I hope he'll be able to use the chainsaw more easily...

Billy has been a killer on my mind for awhile, i've been wanting to remove his overheat and overheat related add-ons while reverting him to old billy entirely, while nerfing his actually OP add-ons (You know, like what should have happened)

there is only a SINGLE argument i can accept for Overheats existance:
he can no longer 99% his chainsaw and facecamp a hook like that. that is actually a pretty healthy change i think.
outside of that scenario however, it should simply not exist.
honestly, his Overheat mechanic should work exactly like Bubbas works: while holding M2 to charge your power, heat builds up. when you fully charged the heat meter, the chainsaw overheats and goes on a cooldown. however, once you either stop charging it or fully charged it, it immediately resets the heat bar.
that way you no longer get punished for using your power a lot, while he is also incapable of facecamping with a 99%ed chainsaw.

“Out of the blue, for no reason whatsoever, we created this terrible mechanic that doesn’t work because that’s just how we do.”
”Can you remove it please?”
”No, we put too much work and effort into it.”
Thats the gist of it.

Don't forget the sound changes. His saw is so loud and ear piercing compared to the original sound.

Devs: this recharge mechanic is pretty cool. It would be nice if every killer had one.
