What Are The Areas To Improve on (Killer)

So I was thinking of just trying to isolate each part of my gameplay, and try to focus on that in games. Even if it means throwing, I just want to focus on one thing, get good at it, then the next. My idea being that as I master each element individually I'll become more skilled and well rounded in general.
What elements are there for a killer? There's gen pressure, chases, loops, game sense and power usage. What other key elements of Killer gameplay exists that I can focus on mastering?

Start with one of the hardest things first, managing your stain (Red light). It's crucial for making survivors move the way you want. Watch reputable streamers to see some of the high-level things you can do with that knowledge.
