Killers really got screwed over in this event
Survivors got new ugly sweaters. They have party starters. They can hop in and walk in a snowman suit. Killers got a couple reskins on default head cosmetics for Trickster and Artist that just gives them blue eyes, and a couple reskinned weapons. Plus, they have to hit survivors three times. They didn't get any winter themed add on like the Blight Serum during the Halloween event. They can't hop in snowmen, too. The devs really just told killers they can go screw themselves.
There is no reason for killers to be unable to get in a snowman.

Yeah, I think the general consensus has been "we like the effort, just maybe try to not have it break several Killers powers next time."

Last night I got downed twice by a Wraith while being in a snowman. Bug or did they change this??
Also while I’m healthy and walking in a snowman I get injured when killers hit me.

The issue is now I cant get any of the items because survivors just hop out of the snow bois before reach them.....I'm missing 2 charms and all but 2 of the cosmetics........now survivors are using the snow bois as mobile lockers to extend chases or to body block hooks and doors.....

I'm not having many of the problems yall seem to have with them. They usually amount to a free hit as the survivor tries jumping in mid chase and winds up on their ass.
I realize this means I must be at the very bottom mmr but I get a fair number of kills and rarely get none so.... I guess kills only contribute to mmr when it's good for an argument.

The Legion actually have sweaters of their own so why not give them to other killers?

Easy: just play surv, jump into the nearest snowman and waddle around. Maybe finish the mission, maybe die on hook, if you just want the items. Repeat one time and you are done. Could go as fast as 3min.

I mean I'm not surprised the devs seem unable to make an event fun for BOTH sides. For one side to have fun the other side has to be at some disadvantage and miserable.

It also works as a nice advantage quite often. But hey, have fun with it. Why can't you have fun when someone jumps in a snowman and remove your mark as ghost face? It's fun!

Maybe. Frosty eyes Trickster/Artist was all I wanted from this event. Trickster's I got first and Artist they made me unlock everything else before giving it too me. I like them because I own every outfit for Trickster and Artist and half or more did not come with head pieces....Frosty eyes gives me head (lol) for those outfits.
Twins and ghosty mains should be the only ones complaining about snowmen. I only played a handful of killers during this event and none of them had issues with snowmen. Artist (my new love) can throw a bird and m1 them, Blight has no issues with anything, Nemesis can still infect you inside them, and Bubba...we all know what he does to snowmen.

Having the snowman in this winter event was a fun idea, but I agree it wasn't explored thoroughly. It definitely affects some killers powers, plus there's nothing for the Killers to interact with. Personally I think it would be hysterical watching a snowman come around the corner and Bubba busts out of it with his chainsaw! LOL The winter event encourages survivors to have fun, but killers still have to play as sweaty as ever.

You need to be fully inside the snow man if you get hit during the animation getting in one then you won't get the protection.

That's usually how most of the events go. Survivors get all of this cool new stuff to do/cosmetics and killers get little to nothing out of it.

Who else might be good? Bubba would make sense for it, but licensed killers are issue for this.
Clown could get one for sure. Well, most killers could and I would love to see it.

Also, something that seems to go pretty overlooked; every other year we get frosty eyes for free on all the default killers. Now they're telling us that they're a reward for the event.
No, they're just showing that you put almost zero effort into the rewards for killers.

My point is how quickly any statement is attacked with mmr. In other words since I'm not upset with snowmen the only possible explanation is I've exclusively played people who've never played before since the event started no matter how many kills I get.
This of course is bull. Afterall if I said I was in high mmr would that have made me right and anyone else wrong?

I had a lot of fun with the snowmen as survivor. sneaking around corners and stuff. and slowly creeping toward killers, I knew I was going to go down but I still had fun. some killers even played along, it was great
I agree killers got the short end of the stick on this event.
one charm and 2 frosted eyes. and I hate those damn frosted eyes. they're so stupid and any killer I've seen use them has been an extremely toxic player

I really don't see Snowmen as a problem anymore; as always peeps exaggerate and whine more then they should.
The core problem stands, ie that killers got next to no interaction with the toys and got just a few very limited cosmetics, and that funny snowman stories were mostly confined to the first 2 days of the event, but the killer apocalypse didn't happen, ie every survivor having 3 health states each chase, potentially more, because they can run from loop to loop and the snowman regenerate, oh nuuuu!
Jumping into a snowman mid chase is pretty dangerous and if you don't arrive early, the surv faces a pretty higj chance to get hit and downed. That said, if someone approaches me in a costume, and the game isn't high octane, I will hit ruhen and then ignore them, so that they get away.
Maybe this will benefit us in the long run: one day the snowman will go away, and while we honed our skills in battle with 3 health state and sneaky survivors, they got complacent and will have a rude awakening once their snowy clutch is gone.
