Impossible To 3-4k
I've played about 10 matches today, most as different killers, and my lowest kill game is 1k.
Ever since boons were introduced into the game, I find myself struggling to get anywhere even close to 3ks.
Below is the matches, in no order, and how many kills I got in each:
Spirit: 1
Pyramid Head: 2
Pyramid Head: 2
Ghostface: 1
Freddy: 4
Freddy: 4
Nemesis: 2
Blight: 3
Blight: 2
Spirit: 1
The two Freddy games that I got a 4k on, one was RPD, and the other had what seemed like new survivors who were running no boons.
Between hit validation, and stomping on boon totems, the only way I am ever able to get anything above a 1 kill game, is if I'm playing a high tier killer like Blight, I am on a very killer sided map, or if the survivors make a huge mistake that practically wins me the game.
Hearing around 3 boons go off in the span of one minute (exaggeration) is one thing, but it's even more frustrating downing one person in an efficient manner, and still hearing 2-3 gens pop. Blight is the only killer that I can seemingly consistently perform at a rate at which is satisfying.
Seriously am hoping for at the very least, some boon totem changes. The dead hard hit validation is something that drives me insane, but all hope for that getting changed/reverted is practically gone on my end, since that is the survivors biggest tool at their disposal to get away from killers.
I'm not a person to run on the forums and complain that the game is completely survivor sided, because it isn't. The killer does have assets available to them to win games, it just feels that now more than ever, those assets are extremely limited in comparison to the survivors. This is all things that we've all heard at least 10,000 times in 10,000 different forum posts.
No I am not complaining. No I am not whining. No I am not trying to debate about anything. Just a post about how I feel in relations to getting satisfying games, which is a completely subjective feeling.

To be honest, whilst my games have become massively more unpleasant, I haven't noticed a dip in my kill rates.
I'm still managing to keep my averages high, though lower than they were before MMR. I have a certain standard I hold myself to and I seem to be doing well sticking to it, even if it is unpleasant.

I think a lot of this comes from what killer you play, since if I play a killer that is higher in terms of balancing, like say Plague or Blight, I will have consistent decent kill rates. It also matters how you play the game in itself obviously, which by all means, I am not the best killer.
Just seems that in order to get anywhere above two kills, even as some of the highest killers at higher ranks, I have to sweat extremely hard. I did get very very very poor maps today as killer as well, which may be why I am noticing them a lot more today than I usually do.

I play a lot of Killers.
Nemesis, Blight, Pinhead, Artist, Demogorgon, Wraith, Doctor and Legion.
I'm currently keeping a 3.85 average Kill Rate with a 9 hook average.
But DBD is nothing if not inconsistent.

My kill rates haven't really changed either. Honestly I've just noticed an uptick in people just being... annoying.
By that I mean survivors rapid vaulting or chasing me clicking. I make a point to ignore them and if they don't stop I usually just throw the game so the other 2 people at least get to finish.

My kill rate hasn't changed much . I do struggle more if I play late night. A lot of really sweaty players around midnight to 3am.

I really haven't seen a dip in my kill rates either, TBH. Maybe a little bit, but nothing dramatic, I think COH is somewhat problematic, but overall, I haven't seen the impact in my games from it nearly as much as I thought I might, so my initial concerns may end up being misplaced.
I do think the game tilts towards the survivor side, especially SWF groups. I'm a decent survivor, but nothing spectacular, and I escape more often than I don't, even when playing solo queue.
I played killer for around 4 hours tonight. I play every killer, but I definitely have a few I'm terrible with. Match results were as follows:
Pig (my main, and the one I presumably have the best MMR with) -- 1K
Pig -- 4K on Red Forest
Pinhead -- 0K (sent to The Game by a SWF -- it was "Hold W from Pallet-to-Pallet for the bulk of the match). Also pretty sure I faced a hacker in this game -- a Mikaela stopped leaving blood while injured, and she wasn't running Lucky Break or anything to make blood disappear. Maybe it was a bug, but it seemed VERY suspicious.
Deathslinger -- 4K (not great with him, but learning) -- To be fair, this is a match the survivors threw due to over-eager altruism
Pyramid Head -- 3K with a mercy hatch/door (getting better with him after not playing him for the longest)
Trickster -- 1K on Ormond (terrible with him and just learning, have no perks -- ran Devour, and if someone wouldn't have cost me a token with an unsafe rescue early in the match, I might have pulled out better)
Freddy -- 3K with a hatch escape -- The group used a hatch offering, and the next-to-last survivor pulled me as far away from the killer shack as they could so their teammate could get the hatch. I didn't feel like slugging at that point.
Pinhead -- 3K with a hatch escape
Wraith -- 4K on Badham against 3 Mikaela's when I was running an all-Hex build
Wraith -- 3k on Haddonfield
Santa Clown -- 0K on Haddonfield -- I almost never play Clown, the survivors used a map offering, and gens were done in barely over 4 minutes. I almost never give up in match, but when the 4th gen popped so early while I was chasing a Dwight who was running Pallet-to-Pallet, pre-dropping everything and using the long fences and hedges, I just went to a door and waited for the last gen. Based on my survivor queue times at this time of night, this group waited longer to get into the match than to play the match itself. One survivor barely broke 9000 BP with an escape. I hope it was worth it to them, lol.
Santa Clown, Part 2 -- 3K with a mercy hatch
Out of 12 matches, the 4K's (I count games with a mercy hatch as that, since they would have been if I'd wanted them to be) numbered 5 out of the 12, with 2 more 3K's that would have been 4K's if I'd been luckier with hatch spawns (or if I'd been sweatier) and another 3K where the gens were powered. That leaves only 4 "bad" matches -- a shutout on a stupidly unbalanced map in The Game, the shoutout by the gen-rush squad on Haddonfield against a killer I almost never play, a 1K with my main where gens felt like they went super-quick as well, and another 1K with a killer I never play AND I'm terrible with. There's not an "S" tier killer in there (Nurse, Blight, Spirit), and a couple of perceived low-tier and mid-tier ones. Overall, that's not bad result, IMO.
All in all, I've had better nights playing killer than this, so while I'm not at Otzdarva levels of MMR, my overall kill rates have me facing survivors who are at least competent, and often more (I've seen more than my share of bully squads and even a few hackers). I did see COH in almost every match -- or at least it felt like it -- but with the exception of the Trickster match on Ormond (where one survivor was running Shadowstep as well), I don't think they really changed the match result much at all.

It's normal to hit a bit of a wall on killer. It certainly happened to me fairly often until I got past the 2k hour mark. I really only have a hard time now if I get a very optimal 4 stack with 4 good runners and I'm on a lower tier killer, but even then, it is so exceedingly rare that survivors of any party composition play a clean game from start to finish. 99.9% of teams are going to give you an opportunity to win. It's all about recognizing it and taking advantage.
The last thing I would say is: run what you need to in order for the game to be satisfying for you. At least 75% of survivors are going to be running full meta. Killers might as well do the same if they feel like it. Nobody good is queuing up with Deja Vu/Technician/whatever.
