Fix the chat censor?

Okay, I get why the chat censor exists, and I am glad it does for that reason... However, it's... seriously broken. At least some other games that try to be a "smart" filter I at least understand why, but they need to whitelist more words... Like I won't name names, but one game I play filters the following words since they contain the letters for a banned word: Saturday, Sharpshooter, Bar'sen'thor (an actual in game title, you can wear it but you can't say it in chat)... Then another game has a motorbike called a Gargoyle, but its' name is censored due to it containing the word for what the Jewish call the non-Jewish (and as a non-Jewish person, I don't get why it's censored to be honest.)


BUT the DBD filter has no rhyme or reason. It just censors on a whim...

Wow, okay I was trying to be nice, but the chat has me sounding passive aggressive? Or other things, like it's trying to read context but failing on an epic level... Just being nice ends up getting censored and making people seem toxic when they are not.


"gg Myers" gets censored... so now instead of complimenting a particularly good Myers player, he thinks I am cussing at him.


Many a time I've said something to a killer, and the killer was like "Excuse me? Why be toxic" and I had to say "nooo the censor is being <censored>" then they laugh. But how many times does it come back censored and the <censored> doesn't reply, so they leave thinking I was being toxic?
