why did i get a penalty after the killer DCed

after they DCed i got a 5 min penalty , i added one of the other survivors and they said they got a penalty as well

    Could be that the killer actually didn't DC, but it was rather DBD's server that failed thus disconnecting everyone, leading to a 5 min ban.
