Escaping alive and bloody millionaire
I got these Trophys on PS4.
Escape 50 times in public matches - 16.5% have this (#########?)
Bloody Millionaire - Get 1 million bloodpoints - 25.2% have this
If you play this game at least some time you should get these trophys pretty quickly.
Maybe we are all wrong here - and the real survivor is just really really bad beyond imagination.

With how many free weekends DbD has had throughout its life, it's not all that surprising. Many, MANY one-time players just drop the game as soon as they realise it isn't for them. Yet they are still counted for the purposes of achievements.
It's also why every new achievement introduced is bound to be "rare" according to Steam.

Yeah, achievements are bad metrics of how many players have done a thing, because they factor in everyone who tried out the game for a few hours and didn't like it, or whose friends made them play it once, or checked out a free weekend.

Right. But on PS4 there are no free weekends. It is a pity you don´t have actual numbers behind these trophys.
But i thought the playerbase on PS4 is pretty big. Therefore these numbers seem very low.
Another one - get a character to level 25 - 29.4% have this - ONE char to level 25..

95% of the free weekend players only play for like maybe a solid 2 ish or so hours,
...They don't stay here.. this game is 100% not new user friendly..

But as already mentioned PS4 doesn't have free weekends tho

Even if they did... would they still want to play as a new player?
Obviously i wouldn't still, but..

While I agree these statistics for achievements is only counting PS4 users and PS5 users aka people that actually spent money on the game

DBD was available as a free playstation plus game a few years ago. Anyone with a ps plus membership could add it to their game library to download at any time in the future. I imagine there were a ton of PS4 players who tried it not realizing what kind of game it even was and then stopped playing immediately after.

Just to put this into perspective, Dark Souls 1 has an achievement for your first death, and only about 95% of players got this, I think :D
3 -
Ah - i didn´t know that. That may be a reason.

Im sure a newbie Dwight with Tier2 Bond and Tier1 Leader perk in loadout, with his teammate Meg with only Tier1 Sprintburst. VS a 3000h Pinhead / Artist who happens to have low MMR because they first pick the Killers...wants to play this game again.

As you see in a lot of new threads here this situation seems to be more common now. And that are only the players who post in the forum...

DBD was free for ps+ members a couple years ago and last October they did a free weekend on all platforms (including ps4) from Oct 22-25. Alot of people play a round or two, aren't a fan and drop it - never getting a single trophy. I had a friend that gave it a shot, played one survivor round with myself and swf teammate - she wasn't a fan and never played it again.
