Another absolutely brilliant game to pick up is The Riftbreaker. It's my contender for GOTY and one of the most fun, innovative and cool games I've played in ages.

Personally, I never liked the civ. My brother loved the ######### out it, but I always found it slow compared to my beloved cnc series.

Metroid Dread is about has challenging as playing a killer in DbD right now, but the controls are actually responsive, the game never lies to you about fake hits, the bosses don't teabag you, the Game Over screen isn't delayed by the boss refusing to just wrap up the match, and Samus' controls, powers, upgrades, and movement is guaranteed not to get nerfed 2 weeks after you buy in.
What a dream. A hard game without bad controls, intentionally obtuse balancing failures, or obnoxiously abusive behavior from the opposition.
