Survivors need more ways to die
What are the community's thoughts on ways to improve the enjoyment factor of witnessing our own deaths?
Right now it's hooks, bleeding out, and if your lucky a mori.
As dying is the least favorable outcome for survivors, at least make each encounter with death more entertaining;
Environmental kills
Various method of sacrifice to substitute for a hook state
Multiple and random mori for every killer
Death animations for Various health states and hook progression
Locker mori
Execution grabs
Not asking for them to be easier to achieve, but when we get there to give us a full spectacle.

The devs said they're making moris a base mechanic in the 5th year anniversary stream which was 7 months ago so who knows when that's going to happen.

More variety would be nice. Tbh with the way MMR has been going right now, and since they force you to wait through 2 skill checks before dying on hook, I wish they would give us an Unalive option. Getting slugged and having to bleed out is a waste of everyone's time.

Only 7 months ago? Still got a good 17 more months before we can expect it on a PTB, then another 12 at least before it comes out as a mechanic.

this reminds me, didn't they say the RE chapter would introduce new ways to escape trials? did that just become another empty promise or am i missing something

I'd like for them to create different types of mori, and have them maybe substitute the 200 charms we get in the rift. I like charms, but I would love being able to earn a different mori for the various original Killers we have.
It would add some variety to really old killers, since we have been seeing the same animations for 5 years.
Environmental kills would probably need so much work to avoid being silly, I have played multiple games where fall damage is a thing and sometimes hopping down a small hill would just insta kill you for no reason. Not a bad idea though, if they can make it work I am not against it at all.

You forgot a death: when the Entity takes you when the EGC timer is out.

That mori could be initiated every time ur downed.
0 hook = easy skill check(s) to counter
1 hook = medium skill check
2 hook = hard skill check
Completed skill check = ds effect

It won't happen.
BHVR is not an American company. It does not like bloody gore. And it caters to countries oversees that heavily censor violence. This game should be ten times more violent than it is but they hold back a LOT.
Look at how many mori animations are just "I hit you with my weapon a bunch of times".

i think this has kinda lessened over time. hag's mori has her eating human organs, oni rips the tongues out of survivor's mouths, slinger shoots a harpoon through survivor's mouths, demo eats heads, etc. even without severed heads, open wounds and all that the sheer brutality of these things is still shown effectively imo.

Some kind of stage fatality for every map would be amazing.

Some moris are kinda hard. Clown and Ghostface, and even Myers when they punch his shoulder...
But more different moris would be cool.
