a question about dead man's switch

Dead man's switch, one of deathslingers perks.

I was thinkin about getting deathslinger, not only cuz hes fun but also cuz nemesis +dead man's switch would be a good perk combination.

So my question is will a gen be blocked if a person is still working on it? What i mean is when dead man's switch activates, if a person stops repairing a gen it gets blocked. So what if 2 people are repairing a gen and one gets off? does the gen still get blocked or can the 2nd person keep repairing it?

    I am pretty sure I remember a match where I let go of a gen and it got blocked even though someone was still on it. Not 100 percent sure though..
