Dead on First Hook?
This is just sad.
If I loop the killer for 5 gens I die on first hook.
If I do 5 gens I die again on first hook?
I have 3000 hours on the game.It means I have some skill.
Is this what you call Skill Based matchmaking?
Cause I dont see it.
Killer has no noed,or any ability that give him one shot kills.
What is the point?
There are time I do 3 gens and loop killer for the last too.
Do I really deserve to die on 1st hook?
I think I do deserve to at least for someone to try and save me.
With a couple of trades we all can get out eventually.
Funny is that,if gates are open and someone saves me,I have ds,Ill take 100000 hit and crawl to the exit.
Man...DBD aint my life, but I wanna have fun on the game.
like plz,do not ruin the vibe...

Do you really deserve to die on 1st hook? I think you should address this question to the rest of ur team
Or swap to killer, as according to forums. If you dont have any friends for swf, then you must be a killer

Sometimes I question the validity of these posts when they portray themselves as super survivor that did everything in the game.

Solo queue! Oh, I'm sorry. I thought the title was asking for word associations.

Well is not about being super survivor is about matching with people who can do gens and unhook instead of hiding.
As iridescent and as playing this game for 4.000+ hrs I just want to match with people who didn't buy the game today :)
And I do feel confident both with my survivor and killer skills,so I do not see what's wrong with that.

I play 3 years on solo :) And I am aware of my mistakes in-game. I know when I deserve to die and when I do not.
This post is reffering to the times I do NOT deserve to die.
I play killer as well but I guess I like survivor too. :)

Yes you deserved to die on first hook, just don't get chased.

exactly.U r a great example of people I do not match with

This is just a problem if your solo i suggest you ask players if they want to party up and communicate better than just pointing

I pointed at behavior for failing to make a fair matchmaking system.
I know what is like to be new in a game and I am sorry If the post sounded offensive. I will never blame my loss on a player who has lack of experience.
Even tho I feel that saving from hooks and doing gens is big part of the survivor gameplay.
I think is unfair for players who play solo to have such experience.
I am a solo player for 3 years.Ofc I played with people,but I never become dbd buddies.
Sometimes playing for 6 hrs with someone and talking only about the game it can be awkward.
I just wanna play with people who i enjoy being around.I do not like playin with people I feel uncomfortable with.
because most of the times, people are just people and we can not like everyone.
Consinder yourself lucky that you okay with the ppl u play with :)
Plus even if i find this dream team ,what about killer? You think Killers aint affected from the SBMM?
In fact half of players who left dbd because of sbmm were killer mains.
So where is my fun?
I need to play 10 bad games to actually enjoy 1
This post was when I was really sad over this.I do not care about losing, but i am sad because people are living the game because of sbmm.Streamers having a difficult time enjoying the game despite what you see on your screen.
And people who arent long enough in DBD community wont get it,but is so heartbreaking to see game with so much potential failing over and over again.Never cared for perks either.I had fun with dbd no matter how unbalanced it was. That was the point. Now to survive one game i have to sweat, and nothing really happens apart from being matched with people that we dont have the same game knowledge.
All I am saying is I am more scared of the matchmaking that my teammates or survivor I will face.
I can have 3 bad games and 2 good ones and still have fun.But when every match is the same sweaty build, afraid that i wont get unhooked, gens wont be done, wont have any fun either...well i should hide in a bush :)

you read my mind :)

You do NOT match with people like me?
I thought you were matching with people like me, and died.

It's not necessarily that you are matched with bad players. The SBMMR system only uses kills and escapes. From what I have experienced, survivors play much more selfishly now. It is no longer a 4 v1, but a 1v1v1v1v1. If there is some risk to them escaping, you are out of luck.
I think maybe another contributing factor is that everyone is focused on gen rushing. Popular streamers have got it into so many people heads to not rush to save the survivor and finish your gen, and someone else will get them that, in some cases, nobody goes for the save. I saw a recent video from a very popular streamer, where he did exactly that. He ignored the survivor, on their first hook, while he worked on gens. He assumed someone else would go for the rescue, but nobody did, because I assume they all believed the same thing. Of course, very few people run Kindred, especially now that Boons have been introduced.
It used to be that survivors were overly altruistic, now it is just the opposite, it is about gen rushing and escaping, even if it is at the expense of other survivors.

I accidentaly deleted my previous answer. It was big and I am bored to write it over again xD
What i was saying is that,I am sorry if you find this post offensive.I will never blame my loss to a survivor who just bought the game or lack experience.Experience is something u build with time.
But I will point behaviour on this because they failed to make a fair matchmaking system suitable for this game.
And I do not care about losing or winning I care about trying new things and have fun.
I am scared to play because I have 10 bad games to actually enjoy 1 match.
People who arent long enough in the DBD community do not get it ,but is sad to see game with so much potential falling.
I am a solo survivor 3 years now,I didn't mind the mmr.It was so random that it was fun.
I wanna play with people that I feel comfortable being around and I am tired of the constant random swf ill make online.
Most of my mates stopped playing.
Also most players who left since August because of the recent updates were Killer mains. And as a killer you have bad time on sbmm too.
Either way i think is unfair for me,for other players and for the game itself :)

I got ticked off and stopped playing killer today because survivors kept leaving teammates to die on their first hook. After a bunch of matches where this happened I got sick of it and quit. It was almost always the first survivor I hooked, beginning of the match, they'd just be left to die for no reason.
I felt bad for those survivors who died. They sat in a loooong ass queue just to die two minutes into the match with fewer than 2k points. In a few of the cases it happened because two of the survivors were together, and they only cared about saving each other.

Ye I know I know, and thats why I made this post.Because of how unfair matchmaking feels now since they made the game ''competitive''
Well i can not find fun in this new strategy,And I know on my post it seemed like im blaming my mates for not knowing, but is BHVR i blame.I wrote this months back and like i said sorry if someone is offended by my post.I didnt want to give the wrong messages is ,i was overwhelmed.
But in any case,I think i am not the only one facing this problem and I hope people take it into account.I used to enjoy this game so much.

SWF in general tend to make game worse for everyone I guess.

You know deliverance is a perk right? It's an option if you hate dying on first hook and are typically outlasting your teammates.

Don't get me wrong, it is Behavior's fault for creating the situation, but the other survivors deserve some blame too. They choose to play that way. You can still help your teammates and do gens and escape. I agree, the game is far less fun these days. The devs really messed up with the way they implemented the new SBMMR system, by being too lazy to actually use skill-based elements. It's bad for killers and survivors, and the matchmaking still sucks.
