What's your DBD unpopular opinion?

Solo Q is fine as it is. Just git gud

Why do you think it's unbalanced? From my point of view, the exposed status effect is only unbalanced when used by Nurse and maybe Spirit.

Survivors have become a bunch of crybabies and it's never been easier being a Survivor, with basically everything Killers had being nerfed.

Hmm.
Here's 5.
- Hag isn't as powerful as people make her out to be. She's been left behind the the modern meta somewhat.
- Postgame trashtalk should result in a warning, then a time ban.
- Ruin and Corrupt Intervention are overvalued.
- People underestimate Doctor.
- Artist isn't even close to overpowered.
I'd disagree there.
DbD is much easier to pick up than, say, Starcraft 2 or DOTA. However, it's skill ceiling is incredibly high.

Hawkins was one of the best maps.

Just because they were nerfed doesn't mean they were balanced back then, if they started running at 200% speed for 3 seconds basekit every time a chase activated, would nerfing that be balanced? Or a nerf?

It will never feel like a horror game forever because not everything can scare you most of the time because you've played it for 8k hours

Most debates/conversations people start or make regarding fun, balance, or winning, are pointless and nobody is right or wrong in any of those conversations, because nobody ever defines what they're talking about:
Fun - what do you define as fun? Do you mean looping the killer for a long time, having lots of interactions, what do you mean? And as killer do you have to kill everyone to have fun?
Balance - what do you mean by balance or unbalance? What does it mean if something is unbalanced? And what qualifications must something meet to be balanced? And at what level of play? Are we talking average players, weaker players, or very good players?
Winning - what do you mean by a win? As survivor do you mean escaping distracting the killer for a long time? Or something else? If you die but everyone else escapes is that a win or a loss? And as killer do you think 2 kills and 2 escapes is a win, or is 4 kills required to win? Maybe hooking everyone twice is a win for you, what do you mean by win?
Of course not all comments and arguments are like this, but it seems like almost nobody defines what they're talking about when they say something is fun or unbalanced. Nobody is ever right or wrong when they say something is fun or unfun, because not everyone shares the same definition of fun.

Did I say they were balanced?

Hatch is broken. Whether you're doing well as killer or doing really badly, it just gives survivors a free escape. Having to slug the third to get the fourth is stupid, and hatch opening when the exits are already powered is also stupid. The race to the hatch is not killer-sided just because the killer moves faster. Survivors can Dead Hard to the hatch, crawl in even when the killer downs them next to it, use keys once it's already closed, and have multiple means of finding its aura (of which the killer has zero means).

Prove Thyself is way better than most give it credit for.
You shouldn’t be able to just deny another player from playing the match at all. Ie., facecamping Bubbas.
The “holding W meta” is not a problem.

Now that every Killer can cause exposed status effect from a perk, from low to high mobility is the same in my opinion.
I don't think it's balanced because it ignores one health state.
When Hag teleports, Huntress with her hatchet, Blight with his speed boost, this is not healthy with certain characters.
We are playing a game that depends on RNG, a lot of people are getting the same killer almost every match and most of them facing Nurse with a same build. They are getting down like flies because of exposed status effect.
Automatically they are force to play with one health state against a broken killer.
The exposed status effect is not designed well for every killer to match them. Why a Clown can down me with his pink add-on?
A doctor blocked me from vaulting a window and I'm exposed.
With some Killers it can be quite miserable.

Old Freddy was fun to play as and against and is far superior to any of the new versions.

Hex: No One Escapes Death is a little overrated and or over exaggerated!
