Bodyblocking needs to be punished.
Here is what should happen if a survivor wants to bodyblock they get the broken status. Built in instead of a perk. See how many pathetic blockers we get then

They already get punished, they get injured/downed.
How is it pathetic to body block? If you're helping your team and not griefing anyone, it's a valid strat is it not? Or should nobody body block so it makes tunneling easier?

I love when survivors bodyblock, I certainly don't want teamwork discouraged. It means less survivors on gens, more survivors injured etc.

Break me all you want, you'll never stop my Mettle of Man from proccing.

You really want survivors to get nerfed to the ground based off your post history don’t you?

I love when the survivors body block...give me use out of my Agi, Starstruck, Mad Grit.

They body blocking whether there is tunneling or not first hook. Its obnoxious and needs more of a punishment. We can't block there objective why can they block ours.

Body blocking really isn't as relevant a problem anymore, plus there are perks you can take to better this situation if it is happening so frequently.
But usually, you will get another down and make the hook with the survivor you are carrying, or have another you can hook. You also end up with up to 4 injured survivors, which slows down the generator progression.
To be perfectly honest, I would prefer survivors body block more often, I don't have to go look for them and they aren't doing generators.

It's not against forum rules to post my thoughts

What are they supposed to do then? Let you get an easy down? I don't get it really.

Body Blocking was more punishing for the survivor team before the era of 4 second heals.

If you want the survivors to be broken when bodyblocking use Forced Penance

Using that same logic we should be able to block them from their objective. Not saying they cant body block just that they get more of a punishment. They break your hooks whilst blocking as well, two block your path and one gets the hook broke.

Just becduase survivors want to be jerks and block the killers objective I need to use a perk slot which could be used to slow down gen speeds. Mmot gonna happen

It’s not but I haven’t seen one thing from you that says something good for survivors.

and again, that's giving you pressure because you've got no survivors working on generators then at all.

I don't play survivor as much as killer and I see more issues for killers than survivors. What do you want me to say oh survivors need buffs so old bnp a can return. I'm voicing my opinion

I mean, they are doing that to help other survivors... That's just normal.
Sure, if you bodyblock because you have bt...it can be a tad annoying but that's just an open door to tunnel town.

People must remember that the harder it is for the killer to get a hook, the more he will watch out for it.
Also, bodyblocking with BT? Don't complain about tunneling afterwards :D
If we can agree on these terms, bodyblock all you want ;)

Oh yeah for the survivors to cry on forums nerf killer nerf tunneling. And the devs listen to them
0 -
Yes, tunneling has been nerfed really heavily, that's why people keep doing it because "ItS ThE OnLy Way i cAn WiN"
2 -
I mean that's a whole new conversation, but if a survivor bodyblocks with bt and then complaines about tunneling... We reach levels of stupidity that are beyond this dimension... Worse part is that i know those people exist

I don't need to tunnel to win. I just 4kd merciless with ghost face with toxic af survivors

Teams that can actually present a problem with bodyblocking are quite rare and they rely on stacked oak offerings and sabotage. When you've identified a sabo team, fake a pickup and then start beating up everyone in the area, then make your move when you've got several slugged. Otherwise, you're getting free pressure. These teams can be frustrating, but they're very predictable, they hate doing generators, and they tend to kill themselves better than you can. #HowILearnedToStopWorryingAndLoveTheBodyblock
I also suggest bringing STBFL - it's a perk that's useful on most killers in many situations, so it's not a wasted perk slot on your average team, and it will casually wreck saboteurs and bodyblockers (whether they're stopping hooks or just getting in the way of a chase.)

Oh yeah until you get the ones who when you swing to hit them they flick there analog a bit and dodge it.

Forced pennance needs a buff, how about breaking someone protection hit or not?
0 -
Then if you don't have an issue winning, why are you making body blocking out to be a problem?

Oh I apologise for voicing an opinion on the forums.

Or make it basekit

I asked a question. If you even win with a weak killer such as ghostface, why does body blocking bother you?

You can still win but want something changed.

I'm not particularly worried about Body Blocking for the most part. Like Mandy and others said above, if you have someone following you around while you chase a different survivor then you're keeping two survivors off the gens for the price of one chase.
That being said the main scenario where Body Blocking does help the survivors is at the every end of the match where a well timed Protection Hit can ensure that the killer doesn't down an injured survivor before they reach the exit. These are probably the most effective Body Blocks overall that I see, they legitimately swing the kill/escape counts by +/- 1 when they work.
Occasionally a Body Block earlier in the match can keep a killer from getting a down for an extra 20 or 30 seconds maybe? That would be if the block is the sole reason the injured person being protected can reach a pallet before the killer reaches them. Mostly though either the block doesn't work and the killer just scoots around the blocker, or they injure the blocker and then chase whichever of the two survivors is closer.

You can block their objective, its called corrupt intervention, deadlock, grim embrace, pop, ruin, pain resonance, and the 4 or 5 other slowdown perks I haven't mentioned
