you are already smashing your 2 keys to get hooked 90% of the cases anyway and 100% in solo q, cant we just
1-replace it for big skillchecks as we did with hook second stage
2-give the option to actually choose if we want A+D, stick of whatever it is for console players or BIG skillchecks?.

It's one of the only accessibility issues currently remaining in-game and should absolutely be changed.

They’ve already stated that it’s the plan to replace a+d for wiggle to skill checks like second stage hook.

You don't even have to smash your keys though, the frequency in which you need to press A and D is pretty slow honestly.
It's quite amusing to see people machine gun spam their keys to wiggle free when it really doesn't let you wiggle out any faster nor does it make it easier, it's harder that way in my opinion.

The number of people apparently damaging things with this is somewhat concerning. Controllers and keyboards are both made to be pretty resilient, how violent are you being with them...?

I hope not - i hate everything becoming skill checks.
And yes, you don´t need to do it that fast - with Controller slow circles are also enough.
