Korean Server is being destroyed by hackers.
Devs. Any response? This has been happening for months now.
I'm not talking about a random hacker popping up every once in a while. It is constant. I'm a streamer on that server. But I can't stream the game anymore.
ESP and speed hackers can often be found on this server. But the biggest problem right now, which is constant (I am not exaggerating) is a hack where the killer chooses pig with its new Red addon. The one that gives every survivor a trap at the beginning of the match. If you try to disarm the trap it takes 10 minutes. If you disarm the trap, the killer one-shots you and leaves you 4 minutes to die on the ground. The killer is somewhere in the sky.
I can only assume that this hack is being used to sell high MMR accounts (Who in the world would want to buy one of those, I have no idea, but that's my only idea).
There are always several of these hackers, and despite each hack being reported hundreds of time, new ones are always being made.
The Korean server is dying. First, disable that pig addon. It is being used to destroy your game. Second, take the report system more seriously. If an account recieves a ginormous number of reports in a short period of time, and yet I still meet that hacker account weeks later, it makes me wonder why I am even playing this game.
If i was just a casual player of the game, I would say whatever and go, but i've sunk a decent amount of time into this game while streaming it. Please, at least acknowledge that you are aware how badly the Korean server is being hit right now.

Have you considered VPN’ing? I know it’s expensive but it’ll let you play on any other server.

If I turn on an NA stream or Euro stream I will rarely see a hacker. It is most definitely not on every server.
The majority of these hackers are killers. How do you suggest I dodge the killer before even having the option of seeing the profile?
As for VPN'ing, yes, that is always an option, but the reason I am writing here is so that the devs, if for some inexplicable reason are not aware of this hacking issue, can do something to fix it. A whole server has been held hostage for months now.
The small change of disabling that pig addon would alleviate so many of the issues in the mean time.

Why is it that koreans in general like to use cheats almost in alot of games that has worldwide access like dbd. I dont mean to sound racist or anything so please dont take it that way.

Because it is not true, at least in this situation. These hackers are all coming to the Korean server from a very, very large country to the west of Korea. I'm sure you can guess which one.
Of course, I have met a number of players who used hacks who were Korean, but if those were the only hack users I had met in this game, I would not have felt the need to post because the frequency of meeting them is very low.

The game's report system is archaic to say the least as it doesn't save match data(Not video but data points like XYZ positions/action speeds/possible actions/player states/etc).
Aka the thing that lets the developer's actually catch hackers.
DbD is one of the only modern PvP games to lack this basic anti cheat/bug feature.

You don't have any grasp on the situation. Don't start any witch hunt on Korean when you don't know the situation. The hackers that are prevalent in korean server is same as ones in Japan and Taiwan....They are Chinese, not korean.
I'm literally watching these on stream right now as I type this. A lot of streamers I've watched recently has migrated to Japan for the same reason or just stopped playing dbd as much.
Honestly, this issue is really rare outside of any server near China. I had 3-5 games of blatant hacking in EU while I played there for 1K+ hours, and so far none in NA but playtime here is far less. Compared to that, I'm seeing at least 3-5 games per day in each streamer I see lol

It's really not rare in NA, its just the majority of the time its survivor hacking more than killer hacking. That said, you might as well be screaming into the void. DBD can't really do much other than work their way through a mountain of reports and try and ban anyone that can be proved to be running cheats. The real issue is that Easy Anti-Cheat is just a very basic anti-cheat solution that is easily bypassed every time they update.
There is really not much that can be done as absolutely nothing has made the company who owns EAC become more proactive. From what I know about, this is a situation that has come up in Absolver and other games that use EAC.

Again like i said i wasnt trying to start anything i was only asking why is it that the cheaters are usually in that area of the world. I am sorry if it was offensive are they reselling accounts that theyve ranked up and bought killers and survivors onbecause i can actually see that as a reason. I merely wanted to know

Firstly, I do not support hackers. But I am pretty surprise that mods did not delete the thread or warn or ban anyone who comments about specific countries related to hackers.
I was in same situation in the past. When I mentioned things in general way, I did not even point out the name of area or country, then I was "put into the jail", how ridiculous it is!

I can go about describing why such issues occur but that would totally be OT. BTW part of dbd cheat is unlocking all available perks, characters, wallhacks, increase/decrease cooldowns, movement speed, action speed, etc, and as seen in clip above, preventing actual game to finish....
Ranking up literally doesn't matter as there is no rewards for these hackers, besides making other people's lives miserable. Don't forget that at its core, DBD isn't a competitive game despite the ranking system. And fact that cheating is increasing is really worrying. Cheats start from one server and it moves on...by which time it is usually too late.
Personally, I feel like the increase was ever since the Epic store giveaway, probably a lot of people just got bunch of throwaway accounts to use hacks? who knows...

Received a message from a mod asking not to post clips without the names blurred so as to not name/shame. Perfectly understandable.
But I really just want an acknowledgement about this issue.
I've reported my share of hack users through the ingame tool, and also with clips. But they just keep coming. It is ruining countless games on the Korean server. If there wasn't a language divide, there would be much more talk of this here.
At the very least, please consider disabling the pig addon that puts a trap on everyone's head at the start of the match. It is being exploited by these hack users so much.
