Does the map addon (black silk cord) to track the hatch reveal it if it is not yet visible?

The 5.3.0 patch made is so the hatch only becomes visible when there is only 1 survivor left in the trial.

I've been in several matches now using a map with the Black Silk Cord which unlocks the ability to track the hatch and the green Odd Stamp to increase tracking by +12 meters.

I know I ran all across the whole map but I have never seen the hatch aura while using the map; this was while other survivor teammates are still alive in the trial.

So I am guessing the hatch only gets tracked on the map if and when I become the sole survivor in the trial?

Could someone confirm?
