PC - Item Stuck in Locker When Player DCs

Play any map.
Enter a locker holding an item.
DC and see if item is stuck in locker and can't be picked up by other players.
I tried moving around at various angles in front of and beside the locker and only ever had the option to hide in the locker and not pick up the medkit if I had any prompts at all.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Map - Autohaven Wreckers, Wretched Shop
- Frequency of the issue - Only seen it once so far, but I've not seen many people DC in a locker while holding and item very often.

The problem is not only with the lockers. The same can happen when survivor leaves the match while the generator is being repaired.
