Option to have YOUR selected skin as the killer skin.
Nuts idea, but would you like to have the option? Viewed killer skins could be unique in relation to survivor choice.
The fact that we can't see the full skin of the killer when we play as them (unlike survivors) is a shame. The killer skins are impressive but the first person perspective leave for limited admiration.
In a game as survivor, would an option to have the particular skin you currently have selected for the particular killer be a viable option?
Obviously there is the concern that some of the stealth killers could be equipped with more eye-catching skins (eg Blighted Ghostface) etc.

Would have to be optional, and maybe have it be restricted from certain killers (those being stealth killers who rely somewhat on appearing darker).

I suspect the draw of skins is it allows players to determine how they want to project themselves to the world. If I pick the Minotaur skin for Oni, it’s because that’s how I want to be perceived by other people, not so much because I need to see my Minotaur running around.
It’s kind of like how you comb your hair and pick your clothes a certain way even though you can’t actually see it unless you look in a mirror. You know what it looks like and you want to project that image to other people. You probably don’t go around all the time taking requests from other people telling you what they want to see you wearing.
So skins are a form of personal expression and empowerment. Survivors deciding what you should look like defeats that purpose.

If it's a setting that I can turn off and it applies to the survivors/killer if you're playing killer/survivor than sure, as long as it always affects the other role.

Clientside skins should absolutely be a thing, both for Killer and Survivor. Players should be using cosmetics because they want to see them, not because they want other people to see them.

I feel like it would kinda kill the main purpose of numerous skins - individuality. Everyone chooses their own pack of skin-pieces, which makes their characters sort of unique in their own way (that's also the reason why I hate sets that don't change your character).
I guess it's fine if you make it an optional setting (e.g. color-blindness settings), to each their own after all. But I wouldn't use this option.
