For reference, my internet seems to be working just fine, and I even restarted my computer, yet I keep getting this same error.

I would suggest to browse the forum section for technical issues if that problem was discussed already, if not maybe create a thread tjere but try to be more descriptive about your situation (how often does it occur, when exactly does the message load, Lobby search, during game, only while in SWF etc)
if that doesn’t help I guess you need to contact support
