"Camping Ruin Bad Demogorgon"

Is putting a portal on top of a hex totem now considered something that's incredibly toxic for survivors to play against? When you can just ignore ruin to begin with, and work on generators (which did work this match, I only secured two kills while the rest got away)? What's the deal with people thinking protecting a priority in your match is toxic? Especially when you can tell I'm going to be using the lifeguard whistle and portal to know where you are on the map.

This is perhaps the weirdest thing I've ever been spoken to in the endgame chat about, in an extremely condescending manner as well. What's weird, is the two people who were practically trying to get a reaction out of me with nonsensical comments, were the ones who got away.

So is this now the new horrible thing that a killer can do? Guard a hex totem that can be easily ignored to win the game? This is truly the worst thing I've ever done in game. Worse than NOED. Worse than face camping for not liking a survivors name.

I love build with Devour Hope + Lifeguard Whistle..

Don't really care if survivors don't like it. They don't care about me either, so it's fair.

Good on you for using your build and Add-ons properly, don't let those people dictate who and how you should play

I am going to say that camping, in any form, is just bad. Being told so by people who got away should also mean that they were speaking without any salt involved. That is not to say that whoever is salty does never have a fair point, but in this case even that cannot be argued about, as they had no reason to be salty (unless it was a full premade). That said, although I am a fan of not being toxic as a survivor and as a killer (unless the other side is toxic to me), at the end of the day nothing chanes for you. So just ignore it. Make sure not to make camping a habit, tho.

You protect a totem that gonna get destroyed anyway after 1min, how dare you.

Trying to win instead of letting the survivors win seems to generally be considered toxic.
