That is word for word what it says in the Developer Update. They only specified being more transparent with what they're working on. Not about mmr or what's already in game. If you actually read what they said, then you'd know they kept their word... this time.
Edit: In case you're wondering how I know or want to fight me on what it says two things
A. It's copied and pasted from it put into quotation marks and sited that it's from the update
B. You can check it yourself. That's what it says.

I mean, you could also just reference how they said the Killer-specific MMR was to help players try new killers without getting steamrolled just because they've played a lot of a different character with a different moveset. Then, MMR comes out and surprise surprise, new characters are set at the level of your highest character instead of a low, starter level.
That was a straight-up lie. The transparency thing is just "we're going to announce some things we're looking at but aren't putting into the game yet." It's a way of placating players with the ongoing poor state of the game by saying "hey, we hear your complains. But we haven't actually been working on that as a priority. But don't worry, we might look at it in the future."

Personally I don't feel like they owe us anything, so them actually sharing things is what being transparent is. They don't have to give us details of what developments are taking place.

You're late. The said they were gonna give use RE characters but never did. They lied a while ago.

Thats where your wrong us as players don't owe them anything they need to prove to us they know what they are doing. Without the player base they don't make money and there game dies with out them we move on to a different game. Behavior needs to be held accountable.

They said they’re being transparent about “what they are working on”, they doesn’t mean they’re making the MMR visible on the endgame screen. They’re being transparent about things actually in the works, if they’re not working on something or don’t have anything new to report they’re not going to say anything new.

My only issue is them denying changing matchmaking a lot since as a player you can see it and feel it its completely off sometimes and you know its been tweaked somehow.
They deny it on forums and then game designer flat out says they are changing it all the time behind the scenes in yesterdays patch notes. Funny
