Survivors should be able to kill the killer
If all 4 survivors are alive when the 5th gen is completed it should be the Killer that has to open the gates before they get hooked.

Our you can just play VHS.

Killers should be able to kill survivors on first down. They are killers after all.

About all thats missing in the survivors kit...ability to damage the killer.
Killer que is literally 2-3 seconds right now but sure why not kill the few playing.

Survivors should be able to damage generators. Survivors should be able to hook survivors. Survivors should be able to break pallets. Survivors should be able to injure survivors.

Survivors should be able to kill survivors.
6 -
Survivors should be able to end matches immediately by dcing.
1 -
Killers should be able to tip Generators over. This would make them impossible to repair, as every Survivor has weak, noodly arms & can't pick them back up.

That's one way to increase tunneling

You could kill Jason in the Friday the 13th game. But it was an extremely elaborate sequence of events that needed the whole team to work together on.
Also, in that game, Jason could just straight-up kill players because there were seven of them. The maps were big, but his power set unlocked as the game went on, and he had teleports aplenty to deal with the traversal issue. Plus, the game had a wide variety of tasks and paths the survivors could take to win.
It's really a shame the IP Lawsuits killed that game off. So many great asymmetrical concepts that are completely lacking in the rest of the field (lacking in DbD especially).

Survivors should be able to smack survivors on hook.
3 -
It did allow survivors to kill other survivors with the car, so it was fair.
5 -
I can't believe I didn't think about this. I also think if as survivors are healed end match all totems should automatically boon and the EGC be halted and all pallets replaced.

Survivor's have been slowly killing me since I became a killer main. Might as well just get it over with.
8 -
Survivors should be able interrupt the killer's mori in order to kill the survivor themselves. Then they Tbag the survivor after the mori. And the survivor that was mori'd gets GGEZ GET GUD instead of the dead result.
3 -
So, the killer is the survivor and the survivor is the killer? That's confusing!

You can do that in Friday 13th, you can switch the game.

When this game was new I was pretty for this idea unironically. I think it's too fast paced now to be an alternate objective, but I do think having more than pallets and flashlights would be cool to mess with the killer with.
Like, pushing a bunch of debris from the second floor of the Crotus Penn Asylum onto a passing slasher that isn't looking up, etc. Just general map sabotage.

VHS doesn't have DS, DH, BT :(

Don't be such a cynic. It's a brand-new game, and they haven't even had time to work out all the kinks yet. I'm sure the balance will be awful in no time.

The amount of teammates in solo queue that I’d use this on is immeasurable lol

I don't take Dead Hard to avoid a killer's swing, I use it to dead hard through the bush Claudette / great wall of Meg.
"I wanna help!" :/

That would be awesome 👌

The fact that survivors have time to think of all this extra stuff to do tells you everything you need to know about how easy survivor is compared to killer
0 -
I think we already did.

Would be cool if the last survivor alive could do this.
In slashers it's also often the final survivor that can somehow kill the killer

Literally the worst idea I’ve ever seen. One of the things that sets DBD apart is the specific fact this is not possible.

This isnt pvp its survive or die

You can select the "Killer" role, quip a green Mori and then kill Nea. Best I can do.
2 -
Don't worry. You kill me slowly from the inside every time i go against SWFs.
2 -
I dunno, I wouldn’t wanna try to kill Oni or Nemesis without weapons

I mean, I guess ruining the gameplay because of aesthetic would be on brand.
1 -
I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be an impossible task to make it work without it "ruining gameplay"
Not now ofcourse, when the game was made originally

David King's arm are strong though 🥴😩

This game was never balanced or designed around PVP. So no. It would ruin gameplay regardless of what point it's done, because it's literally the antithesis to the core design of DBD. If you want a PVP Asymm, there's F13th (which is basically dead) and VHS as the two better known ones, and probably a few others.

The game is officially dead. You can still play it, as far as I know, if people host their own lobbies? But the lawsuits around the IP stopped the game's development dead in its tracks and the Devs couldn't just sit on a game they weren't allowed to fix or update, so they moved on.
There's a more indepth look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydQNKzl7In4

It really isn't anymore unless you have a group of 8-10 people to play on a private server with. Real shame too, as that was about the best game in this genre.
1 -
No they shouldn't.

This is something I have suggested before too. Survivors should be able to kill the killer under certain circumstances. It is a horror genre theme. The fact we are of no threat to the killer at all in this regard is pretty annoying. Survivor players have to worry about moris, rancor, devour hope and tombstone addons as an additional means to remove us from the match. Well, survivors should at least have 1 way to kill the killer during the trial if certain conditions are met.
I'm sorry about some of the replies you've gotten here. Your suggestion is a good one and something that should be in the game. Killer players just lose their mind at the idea of survivors being able to do something else to the killer and think they deserve all the power in every trial.

Sets it apart from what? Killer characters being killed is a common theme in the horror genre. It actually is a great idea and what you said makes no sense. It literally makes no sense that the killer has no risk of being eliminated by survivors in the trial.

"Sets it apart from what?"
"Killer Characters being killed is a common theme in the horror genre"
You kinda answered your own question there. Every other asymmetrical game has a way to kill the 1, what sets DbD apart is that the killer is always a threat.
1 -
And you completely ignored the other point I made in that it makes no sense that it can't happen. And DBD doesn't have much competition out there so again I say, sets it apart from what? Killers should have the risk of being eliminated by the survivors UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. We're not talking about making this an easy thing to do. It would be a challenge so it wouldn't be something that happens all the time.

It makes perfect sense. The entity is interested in seeing survivors hunted to death, only to be reborn at the campfire. Giving them the ability to fight back and kill the killer doesn't spice up the meal.
1 -
??? It sets it apart from other asymmetrical games BECAUSE you cannot fight the killer. The killers are literally magically super steroided by a literal evil eldritch creator god that can freely alter things like laws of physics as it pleases in its realm. The entire point is that since you cannot fight them, you have to outsmart them by delaying them in chases so others have time to power the exit gates. They are not something you are even able to dream of the capability of fighting directly.
