What is your favorite Biohazard game?
My favorite is Biohazard 2 (2019). That game was just so special.
The most special game to me however in the franchise without necessarily being my favorite is Biohazard 4. It was my first one and I'm still addicted to it's masterfully executed gameplay.

I gotta go with the original sure it was a door loading monster at times but it really setup the stage for horror videogames. I know we most likely would eventuallly get others but it was a genre nobody really thought about before. I guess Doom was around but that wasnt a horror game really.

I love give original. Not only just for the game itself but I love how it basically created a genre and is still the king of its own genre today.

I gotta say as good as the ogs were I absolutely loved REmake 2. I played the absolute hell out of it. I adore that game.

RE4. The Red9 is the height of a good feeling, suitably strong gun. Plus, the Plagas and bosses are both freaky and fun. Wish we could get a Chief Mendez skin for Nemesis (with a plagas tendril instead of the normal tentacle)

Red9 feels so good. It's also very cool in the VR version. I love using that gun even more in VR!

I probably one of the few that actually enjoyed revelations as well even tho they are basically glorified ipad games

RE 2 remake by a long shot. I love Claire a lot so that’s mainly the reason.

REmake 2 is great, probably my #2, but I think that my #1 is RE7. It was kind of my introduction to Resident Evil. I love Jack so much, he's such a fantastic villain (better than Nemesis imo).

For some reason, I read it as BioShock. No idea why.
In regards to Biohazard/Resident Evil (big fan):
Played since the first. Christmas 1996. Got the original Resident Evil on Playstation.
Since then I have played the whole main series, Code Veronica, Zero Revelations (and some of 2) and all three recent remakes.
My favourite is Resident Evil 4.
Parts 1 (original), 7 and especially 8 were all very good too.

Resident Evil 4 is definitely my favorite. I love everything about the game to its enemies and map design. It's one of the best RE games ever made, imo.
(Resident Evil 2 remake would be a close second, though)

Hey, I absolutely loved the Revelations games. Especially the 2nd game. To me they feel very close to the main games in the franchise in terms of quality.

RE7 is extremely good I got the collecter's Edition for it on Pre-order because I was so excited. It was amazing. I still like Nemesis more though. Jack was great personality wise but in power he is similar to like Mr. X and Nemesis but less scary depending on what scares you.

The only plats I have for RE are RE4, RE2R, RE3R (Which I am the most proud of for getting so close to launch), RE8, and RE7. I'm so very close to getting 5 and 0 right now.

I believe all mainline RE gamed are good but some for different reasons. Except Code Veronica. I know some people like that one but I myself just didn't. I love stuff like RE0 though. I at least had fun with RE6 and 5.

I mean RE4 is considered by many, many people to be one of the greatest games of all time. The nearly perfect vide game is what I like to call it. The gameplay loop is just soooo good. It's crazy how good and how big it is in its content when the game had a ton of trouble being made. Being scrapped multiple times but comes out "Faaaantastic!"

Loved the development between RE7 and 8, the story was pretty good and I loved every single character I met because all of them had strong personalities.

Re4 mercenaries was kinda challenging. Not too hard tho.
I had fun getting all the trophies which I don't usually do for the sake of it.
Also looking forward to re4 remake. What is your favorite save theme btw? For me it might be code veronica if I really have to choose. But most of them are fire.

A lot of people didn't like Ethan but honestly I really loved him. 7 and 8 are both amazing. The first RE games to really have an extremely close connection to another one. While older ones did 7 and 8 brought that to a new level. It was great. I like 7 more than 8 still though.

The best is difficult for me. Hardcore Resi fan.
Started early - my first one was Resident Evil 2 on PS1 - man was this awesome at the time.
Got a dreamcast for Code Veronica - awesome. Capcom always had top graphics for when the games came out.
Got a Gamecube for REmake - probably one of the best remakes ever made.
The when RE4 came it was beyond awesome - and is one of the best / maybe the best.
Got a 3ds for Revelations - i really really like Rev1 - i don´t understand the hate it sometimes get.
Don´t like the first person TCM style of 7. 8 was good but i still prefer old style RE.
R2make could have been perfect - but for me they missed the A/B scenario and a bit at the lab at the end. The lab was better in the original - and sadly they scrapped enemys there.
R3make was good - but i can´t get over it that they messed up the different story branches - total missed opp here.

I always liked CV.
Best versions right now are CV X HD on PS3 or Xbox 360 -> playable on Xbox One. They fixed some graphics here and it is widescreen.
For some dumb reason the PS4 version is an emulated PS2 version and not the better CV X HD version...

I'm sad it was scrapped in the VR version. I didn't know the VR game was ONLY Leon's campaign until I beat it. But Mercenaries in 4 is really fun. Now imagine that in the remake but with even MORE enemies and better gameplay and even multiplayer mercenaries which RE5 did a good job with.
The games aren't all that hard to get plats on. Or maybe it's just me since I play the games religiously. I spent days on RE8 mercenaries just for that one so maybe you can consider them a little hard since spending days for 1 trophy is long. But I guess it's just easier for someone that plays RE the way I do. I don't know if I'll ever do CV though. That game for some odd reason is just so hard for me.
Oh I cannot wait for RE4 Remake. Some say it's still not confirmed but come on, it is. Capcom basically confirmed it all. And people say that they want a CV remake more. While I want to see one, I'm still extremely excited to just SEE RE4 Remake. That's what gets me the most pumped. I wanna see short Salazar in 2023 graphics, I wanna see El Gigante (One of my favorite RE bosses ever) in 2023 graphics. And I do not think people have to worry about the remake being bad or anything. From all we are hearing, Capcom is putting their top teams on this game and it seems they are putting more effort into this project more than any of the recent ones. It's RE4. A huge game. They even made a remake for VR and I doubt we'll see that for other games. We got that because it's just RE4. The only problem I have is that I don't have it in my hands right now. I WANT TO PLAY IT!
My favorite save theme is Resident Evil 4. Both of them since it has 2 save themes. Serenity and the actual typewriter theme. Both are 10/10 in my opinion. I really wish they played them in DBD. What they should do is have it where when you have the Leon RE4 skin active it plays the Typewriter theme and replaces the main menu theme. And then add Ashley as a skin and when you play as her it plays Serenity instead. I want Ashley as a skin so bad. But Code Veronica has a REALLY good theme. I personally don't like CV as a game but that theme is amazing! I also LOVE RE0's theme. And of course I love all the classics.

I hope they don´t screw RE4 Remake up. This game is nearly perfect. They should simply do a Bluepoint Style graphic overhaul and leave everything else as it is.
But when i already hear they got rid of the ashley jokes i am a bit worried. The only time a Remake added good things was R1make.
And yea, CV has great music.

I don't think they'll mess it up. And originally when it was being developed by the RE3 devs it was gonna be a 1:1 remake. That changed though. But now that backwards compatibility is probably a standard now, it does not matter if it's bad or good. We can always just use the PS4 RE4 disc and play the original. Or Xbox or whatever.

After RE2 Remake, even if i think the lab part and missing A/B scenario is worse than the original, who would have thought they would screw up RE3?
I really hope they don´t want to try to "improve" things in RE4...

I mean I liked both the remakes more than the original. I thought RE3R was a very good game and now it's the main version of RE3 so yeah the original is erased in a way from the story. I think 3R was heavily overhated. It is not at all a bad game. It just wasn't as good as RE2R. It's the same way back then though. RE3 wasn't as good as RE2 for a lot of people back then anyway.

RE3R was good - i liked it - especially the characters and also the dialogue i think were good.
But you clearly saw they rushed it. Sadly.
The seperate story branches would have made this so much better - and the Nemi boss fights were not really good.
And they skipped the church and the park and the worm boss.... grr - i am more sad about the missed opportunity here.

Yeah I was annoyed just as much as anybody that things were missing. I wish they were in it. But there is so many people who crap all over it and act like it's the worst game ever and even crap on the content that is in the game at the moment even though they are wanting more of what they are crapping on.

Most people were angry the cut so many stuff and complained about everything for that.
If the stuff were in the game i am sure a lot more would have loved it - because the nailed the base machanics and graphic is very good.

Biohazard is just what RE is called in Japan. That's why RE7 has biohazard in it. And then in Japan RE7 is called Biohazard 7: Resident Evil

Also i am wondering if we get something in between - Revelations 3 would be nice. (even if there are rumours that RE8 was Rev3 and got changed to main part)
There are rumours of a switch exclusive... i hope this is not it - or i may have to buy a switch for that.

I know it's not the best, but in terms of impact when RE3 came out it was the first time I'd seen a monsyer actually chase you through various rooms in a game like RE and Nemesis came across as very threatening. So I'd go with that.
