Some people want to play the game how they like, just because you bring an offering doesn't mean people should feel forced to farm, it's kind of boring to do and killers don't really suffer for bloodpoints as it is.

I mean, sure if that was my experience as killer, that would be great. Instead 9/10 times when I see streamers it means sweaty team incoming, if I play to farm I end up with 2 hooks and my buzz stomped flat.

Why should I get the less bloodpoints when I bring that offering just because the killer is a jerk? It's a waste of offering!!!

I can't how many times I've popped a streamer or cake and been w key gen rushed bodyblocked so I got minimal points. So no I'm going to play normal and get mine points.

I've seen survivors pop bloody party streamers than play in a way to make sure the killer doesn't get much BP.
So yeah, I tend to ignore BP offerings and don't use them much myself because often the otherside is going to make sure you don't get a lot of BP regardless.

Right. I gave up trying to farm with survivors years ago. Their idea of farming was hitting me with pallets and then getting pissed if I tried to get a single hook. That scenario was much more common than friendly survivors who understood how to actually farm.
Personally, I don't burn BPS as survivor because I always get tunneled out first, and I don't burn BPS as killer because survivors rush through the gens and avoid me as much as possible. BPS are bad luck.

Its a gamble like anything.
Bringing an offering does not guarantee a farm game, it doesn't entitle anyone to a farm game, an escape or "Fair" play, it doesn't mean you deserve hatch or hooks or even the slightest reward for it.
What will you get from streamers is a BP bonus that will apply to you and others that's all. Gamewise anything can and will still happen and expecting otherwise is a recipe for dissapointment.
This is why I want a solo mode
Because everytime anything happens in this game that the other side remotely doesn't like, they didn't get full value from their offering, they lost their item, they died early, they didn't get any hooks, they got camped, they got tunneled, they got flashlight blinded, hook sabo, body blocked etc etc etc. Then its an affront to their sense of fun and the greatest gaming crime even commited.
EDIT: I should clarify that this community can be exhausting and often I'd rather play this great game on my own in a solo mode then be thrust into game after game with these just bad attitude players.

Your offering should not decide how I have to play for example when a new chapter is near many people drop mor streamers then usual so when I with limited time to play play 5 or 6 games an evening start to force me into farm games just because one survivor made an offering I can just stop playing befor a new chapter drops because I don't enjoy farm games all that much

Don't you know some killers don't care about BP?
If they tunnel you they would have tunneled you regardless, because you got get many points if you are tunneling anyway.

People are generally using it for themselves or their friends, not the killer. I'd imagine if you alter how you play then the killer might not, but they also still might camp/tunnel, so..

I don't even see the offerings. I alt tab the game when in lobby and hear it when the match starts.
I won't know there was a bps untill after the match

Where does it say that when an certain offering is brought, people have to play by different rules?
If someone playstyle is tunneling and/or camping, why should they suddenly play all differently?
Just because you bring the streamers offering doesn't mean that the killer has to play different, and that goes the other way around as well.
It's a video game, play ot how you like it simple as that.

It depends to survivors for me. I can not offer farm because if i do that and survivors decline me, i will lose so much time. So if survivors wants farm, i will give them for bloody streamers.
But this also depends to killers. I can farm and chill sometimes but this does not mean everyone like me.

I've had plenty of survivors bring in streamers and genrush out with maybe around 10k points each.
I already don't tunnel so its their loss, I made more points than all of them lol. But its not anyone's obligation to play different because of offerings.

I´ve seen 5 party streamers during a double bloodpoint weekend. Was prepared for a farming match. What i got was a gen rush. So i opened the gates after all gens were completed. The survivors obviously wanted to escape with 12k base bloodpoints, so i gave it to them.

Nah, after I got gen rushed in a 5 cake lobby, I do not trust that shtick anymore. Nor do I offer them myself. Lol.

It can be seen as you say "farming" and that is not playing the game normal. Farming destroys the game. Why should anyone try to play differently just because you want more BPs? Not everbody cares about BPs, and few to the point of wanting to ruin the games purpose by fooling around.

If I see a streamer as a survivor, I tend to go to the killer and get hooked so they know I mean we'll. Even if I haven't brought it myself.
Doesn't always go well, but it pisses me off when I see 2 gens pop straight away.
Farming for is 99-ing all gens, getting everyone hooked twice, healing and rarely a couple of pallet-stuns each, when I don't see that happening, I offer myself up. Even if that means I don't get as many points.
It's like they bank on the killer being nice just for that and taking advantage of it.

Because the Killer is not a bot or your servant, and you don't get to say 'I brought <x> so you have to farm. Your lord Survivor says so!'

When I see BPS I know it's going to be a quick game - either my teammates do gens as fast as possible when killer was willing to farm or the killer is trying to kill as fast as possible when teammates wanted to farm. Those and cakes jinx the match for BP.

When I bring Bloody Streamers, I get DCed on or sent to Haddonfield by the sweatiest SWFs who inform me in postgame that 'you don't deserve BP'.
Now nobody gets streamers.

The type of bloodpoint offering will not cause me to alter my play style, as I am not in need of bloodpoints.

The last time I tried to be a friendly Killer when a Cake was in play, it was a 4-Man SWF. It had to be, given the setup:
1 Survivor found me. I hit him, he self-cared, but kept botching the skill-check to buy time.
Once healed, I hit him again, and he self-cared, but messed up again and again.
Then he ran to a pallet AWAY from his friends, and I let him hit me with it.
Meanwhile, his 3 SWF buddies all brought BNPs & split up to use them on 3 gens.
And, of course, they 99'd gens as well. So when 3 pop, and I get serious about downing the distraction; they just sat next to gens, waited for him to go down and bam pop 2 gens, Adrenalin gets him back up in under a second.
And, of course, they twerk in the exit gates and point at me non-stop, because they played me.
So now, I just play the game normally, no matter what offering is in play.
So don't whine that Killers should 'NOT TUNNEL' because you want to farm; because Survivors ruined Killer altruism years ago. And we ain't your servants; we don't have to adjust our playing according to Survivor moods.

I mean sure if the survivors drop BP offerings and go for a chill approach instead of yeeting the gens with BNP's to make the game last 4 minutes, i guess i can chill aswell.
I will tunnel if i have to, it's really up to them.

Farming is genuinely more boring than afking. It also awards significantly less points to whomever has the shorter ques since frequently you could have knocked out multiple games in the time it takes to get hit by every ######### pallet and blinded by every ######### survivor all so they can get their bp jollies off.
If you need bp. Play killer, get bbq, and do no kill games with low level survivors. You can try to give them practice to not play like the dumbasses that plague upper mmr and everyone gets candy. Much better than 30+ minute farming matches of utter bordem.

One of the biggest problems the DBD has is that the players want the killers to play the way survivors like it, in my opinion the killer has to play with all his strength, and the developers improve resources for the survivors to reduce the chances of the killer doing things like the camper for example, like, DBD is the only game I know that has people making rules to play, which I think is ridiculous, people should play how they want, but the game is fair too your mechanics

When I play survivor and use BP offering I never want to farm nor do I want to gen rush. I play solo so can't control the bots I mean my other teammates. I do try to do totems help others and try to have a chase from the killer. The only thing I agree with is I don't want to be tunnelled but the part about expecting the killer to farm is silly. Farming is boring, I don't like doing it... If there's like 4 to 5 BP offerings and I see the killer farming then yeah maybe I might then and also let the killer kill me at the end. But other than that its boring farming on both sides.

If I see bloody party streamers, I won't deliberately kill anyone, but I'm not going to farm with you either until I've gotten my 8 hooks. Too many times I've offered to farm and either the survivors didn't bite and I wasted half the game trying to make friends, or I did farm, spent the whole time getting bonked with pallets and blinded, and everyone left without giving me any hooks.
That's the best you're getting; take it or leave it.
