Should gen regression speed be increased?
Trying to make a gen regress after a basic kick, currently, is inefficient... since the speed at which the gen regresses is too slow. To deal with gen speed: would you increase the gen regressing speed? Or do you think there is another way to prevent gens from going to fast?
Previously, i thought that making corrupt a base mechanic would be the best way to deal with gen speed (because it doesn't alter the aesthetic of the game unlike other propositions). But corrupt doesn't help with the late game and has easy counters. So i'm starting to lean on the idea that gen regressing speed should be buffed.
What's your thoughts?

Kicking a gen should instantly regress it a small amount before regressing at the current speed it does.
Furthermore, make it so when survivors work on a gen that has been regressing, they can't tap it just to stop it from regressing (from this I mean if a survivor taps it and runs off instantly itll continue to regress rather than stopping like it does now).

The overall gen speeds don’t actually seem that bad. Escape rates seem to be in the 1-3 range most matches which is the balance goal, and for that to happen the gens need to be complete most of the time. Significantly increasing gen regression speed could possibly push that into the 0-2 range if generators were only completed in half the matches which would be a bit much.

Current gen regression doesn't do much, so making it actually do something would help.

What I’d like to see is making default regression one-third of a charge per second, instead of one-quarter, and also eliminate gen-tapping after a kick (make it take like, 2 seconds to stop regression).
Then change ruin to say “50% of 1 survivor’s repair speed” (which leaves it the same) and nerf the other regression perks to take the increased regression rate into account.

Pop to like 15-18%
Pain resonance to like 10-12%
surge(JOLT) kinda needs a buff right now so it can stay the same or they can buff it some other way and nerf the value down
eruption nerf by 1 or 2%
ruin have value adjusted to 75% of base regression speed (so same as current tier 2 ruin basically)
corrupt have it's duration dropped by 20 - 30 seconds
grim embrace needs a buff currently so it can stay the same.
NWO dropped to 45 seconds

I feel as though the gen speeds are fine but, if they were increased I'd also be fine with that. Not something way over the top though, maybe increasing it to 2 minutes(I believe the gen is 80 seconds?) so, it would make a impact but not make the game last double the time. I feel like one of the draws of DBD is the fast nature of it so, I wouldn't want to feel like the game is getting dragged out for too long.

Right now, generator regression speed reduces 1 charge/second of progress every 4 seconds. 1c/4s (100%)
The default, in my opinion, should be 1c/3s (150%)
This sounds like a huge buff, but in reality - its not super noticeable to a good survivor team. 1c/4s will reduce a nearly full gen to nothing in a touch over 5 minutes. Matches can easily end before even reaching the 5 minute mark and some change. 1c/3s reduces a nearly finished gen to nothing in 4 minutes. If nobody touches the generator for 4 minutes, that's what you get, really.
In addition, generators that are idle for 30 seconds or longer should be stricken with a passive 1c/6s regression.
It's very subtle, with a survivor having to leave a half completed generator unattended for nearly 5 minutes to see it fully default.
As it is, killers cannot kick gens or rely on regression as the game goes far too quickly for a kicking action to be warranted.
On average a kicking animation takes time (~3s) and the generator may regress for several seconds, perhaps even 24. But in that 24 seconds the generator only regressed a total of 6c - needing only 6 seconds of work to bring back to speed. Bumping up regression will cause that same amount of idle time to regress a total of 8c - needing 8 seconds of work to bring back. It's a small buff, but it would be enough to get killers to actually kick gens and play the objective instead of having to resign themselves to chases to apply pressure.

Either make the base speed 200% of what it currently is or do what @NoOneKnowsNova said and make it have instant regression + gen tapping removal.
However knowing the developers if they have to change it they will do with the easiest option aka just a regression speed increase hence my vote.
